Tony, I can only hope that on this occasion PH is not giving us more BS. The thing is, you have to actually believe what comes out of his mouth to build a positive perspective of the near future (and I will always be sceptical of anything he says - I'll believe it when I see it essentially). He really has to deliver - and deliver now - words don't cut it.
If you want my optimistic view on things , and I don’t disagree with other views relating to PH and the past. PH would be a fool to be overly optimistic or bullish , he will have hopefully learnt from his previous exuberant forecasts that began the decline in the SP.
The pointers from previous RNS’s and updates and interviews point towards some positive news in the next upcoming Quarterly Update and hopefully a start in rebuilding the SP which reflects a true value and I think we are approaching that time . If people on here commenting are not invested then they are not really qualified to comment unless out of bitterness and there are a few of them, deservedly in some cases, however those of us who are invested have a vested interest in a turnaround in the SP.
I really get under your skin eh bobbyrash? But you are never able to address the fundamental issues which have put BLOE's SP in the gutter for years (yes, years plural). For all your happy clapping we still have an SP of 1.59p as I type - now that is the reality. I'll repeat if for you - THE SP IS CURRENTLY 1.59p AND HAS BEEN IN THE GUTTER FOR YEARS. Now, tell me that isn't true. However, I guess it will just be more happy clapping from you - utterly deluded.
Two further points (for all others (happy clappers need not respond!)):
1. Nobody has yet given me a good reason why BLOE shouldn't have taken a short term loan in lieu of the snouts in the trough approach? Very, very low interest rates, no extant debt and (allegedly) loadsa gas and oil coming along imminently to pay off that short term debt? Could it be they tried but being BLOE and being run by PH with the abysmal reputation that entails they were given the bum's rush?
2. Like scooby - I believe that given their abysmal performance these past couple of years the BoD should be on reduced salaries (not making like they are doing us a favour taking shares in lieu). In fact, if salaries are performance related - they should be paying us!!
Hi Bobby, I stuck my shares in the bottom drawer and have been patiently waiting for the moment that i think is arriving imminently.
Well said Scooby. I know you've been quiet for a while but hopefully now things are starting to kick off with the first of several sidetracks and then hopefully the positivity will return to this board and we hit 4p then rxdav will finally be gone and we can all celebrate.
agreed a 40% pay cut across all directors would of been a better option, but highly unlikely at ANY company including BLOE
Directors are happy to take the shares in lieu of salary, they voted for it. Save cash to prevent a fundraise which would of created more dilution than the shares for salary scheme.
The people harping on about the directors shares clearly do not understand the situation and clearly have not held roles in a company receiving significant shares.
40% of salary paid in shares and the directors to date have not been selling them. as per the last report (last week).
Tells you all you need to know. Insiders not selling. If it was your salary and you didn't believe in this would you just sit on the shares ?
As a long term bloe shareholder I am ok with the shares for salary scheme, it is better than the alternative and has aligned directors completely with shareholders.
Go BLOE.
your right tsbs...this is becoming another frr....take your money and run.....either way the government is so bent over there just as the AIM market is....
Imotakeapunt there is zero evidence of the Directors selling into any rise as you imply. Any sales by Directors, however small would have to be RNS’d and so far as I am aware there have been none since the salary sacrifice scheme started.
its hardly encouraging if directors are continually taking shares in lieu of cash wages and its being forced on them I dont think they have a choice if theres no cash to pay them
Lets say you give away half your salary for shares ( I certainly couldn't, unless I was overpaid initially )
When the share price goes slightly up, do you
a) hold for greater gains - as your an investor
b) sell into the rise, stopping the rise in its tracks
Oh, and as this company is traded solely by private investors - who is losing out?
We are stuck at 1.5p, maybe a blip to 2p on low volume.
Any significant rise has to wait until all the shares for cash are flushed out. Which is a long wait.
IMO - But I'm waiting patiently and happy to do so.
It’s hardly snouts in the trough when Directors exchange salaries for the company’s stock. They are now massively aligned with their shareholders and like us will be expecting to be well rewarded for their investment.
Now bring on that quarterly update!
I am quietly confident about this one ….. I think q2 update will be surprisingly good and could be the catalyst for the long overdue re rate. We should hear about the delays starting the sidetracks …. And quite possibly an announcement they have started
I hear what you say and I don’t disagree with you rxdav, but I read into this different to you and both of us hope I am right so we can salvage something out of this despite as you say history of delays and silence .
Tony, When I see something positive actually happening (which as yet I don't) - not hype about might be happening, or could be happening or should be happening - I'll revise the proposed theme tune. But remember, tomorrow never comes - and it always seems to be jam tomorrow with BLOE. However, I'll be absolutely delighted to be proved wrong - after all, it's only the two and a half year I've been waiting to date! GL
This is hardly a surprise now is it ? It is not ‘money for nothing’ , it’s shares for salary actually, shares in lieu of Salary which has a status quo effect on the balance sheet as it saves cash.
We should be encouraged that they are happy taking share options for salary as a sign of what’s to come. Operational update could be as soon as tomorrow or sometime next week followed by Spud news. GLA
They know that there’s no cash left so dilution is the only way to be paid.
Sure enough - the snouts are in the trough again - just can't stop themselves eh!?
I'm suggesting a new theme tune for BLOE - 'Money for Nothing' by Dire Straights (very appropriate name for both the song and the Band I reckon).
