No Posts for a month now. Can I assume that everybody has accepted we have lost the money? I guess I assumed that with my stake a long time ago although was visiting here to see if anyone had any ideals worth pursuing.
funds have been misappropriated by the company/directors, as I believe that is what some of you were saying some time ago, I don't understand why you don't go to the police and report the issue as fraud and let them decide whether there is a criminal case to answer for the BOD's? That's your only hope of some justice if you can prove it i.e. by looking at what fund raising was described for, and what it was actually used for, etc. Just a thought, but I do feel for those who had large sums invested here, it must be truly galling, and the directors will no doubt be comfortably off and clearly have no morals. Just my view.
Yes I was hoping for a class action would have been willing to through in on that one.. But its not going to happen all very sad..
How come the action group website is closed and there is no response when we email them. Is this the end is there no hope,Why did they cut contact. What is going on with the class action suit?
"The BOD were to blame for this it shows there intent by not helping to retrieve our assets that says it all." That is why Action group tricked shareholders. By voting NO we lost any chance of any recovery. I am almost certain action group is BOD's work... unfortunately it was a well thought plan we will never find out.
The game was up when only 4 shareholders turned up for the last AGM/EGM (9 months ago). There was the chance to get rid of the BOD but lethargy kept us all at home. Even when the Action Group leaders called together a meeting in London to rally support to move things forward, I don't think that more than twenty of us turned up. No wonder Andy MK and his team threw the towel in. Seems to me there are lots of people on here saying what should have been done but are always looking for someone else to do it. It is clear that the 'authorities'; are not interested. The 'Assets' legally belong to the company's creditors and not us shareholders; happens all the time on AIM ...just go listen to Tom W. Good bye!
The BOD were to blame for this it shows there intent by not helping to retrieve our assets that says it all.The action tryed and worked hard .For that I am grateful would be nice to hear from Andy and his thoughts.
We had the best on the case with our committee I have said this before if there was any way here they would have found it sadly they must have hit a brick wall.......
I would suggest that for anyone who had a large holding, you probably consider going to the police and ask them to investigate if you feel there has been a fraud committed by the directors. Probably the more that report it, with large holdings, the more likely they are to look in to it. Only a suggestion but it depends on how individuals feel about it.
duxi I still have shares but Baker Tillys have never emailed or written to me until now when I tried again to get an answer from them as I have emailed before and didn't get any response about 2 months ago. Haso, I believe your assertion is right, had redbike and others not persuaded those who did vote to vote no, something might have been salvaged and in my opinion the Action Group leaders went about everything in a bumbling and fruitless way, and that is why I didn't join, as to my mind they hadn't got a clue how to tackle it. I feel sorry for those who have lost a lot here, I sincerely hope you make up your losses given time elsewhere but I now firmly know that mining shares are not for me. Best wishes all.
I just spoke to Zoe Percy, unfortunately she confirmed we will get nothing and this will finalise shortly she said. I have been saying voting no will get us nothing, now I can unfortunately say that this was true. However I have to point out one thing here... People who thought they were gonna get BHR BOD by saying no was actually help them get away free... AND the biggest help to BHR BOD was the "ACTiON Group"... duxi don't send me another annoying message, because you were conned by them just like everyone else.... so long suckers!
Don't seem to be bother about our assets just closing this account for some easy money. Our assets are worth money ,we have been told they are valued at around £55 million so how can they say there is no value let.In my opinion I think Baker Tilly are playing the same game our BOD .This needs to be investigated .
They should have (your) Email address if you have shares in BHR? You say you had shares in BHR if you don't have shares now they wont send you a email?..
I had a small holding here. I have only just discovered where everyone is posting but this is the response I finally got from Baker Tilly's today for you to see. What I don't understand is are they acting on behalf of the company or independently? At the bottom of the letter it said on behalf of BHR so I assume they are doing the administration on behalf of the company which seems totally biased to me, and can't an independent investigation be carried out by actuaries? I emailed back asking for clarification and asking whether any criminal prosecutions are likely to take place regarding the directors. "Apologies for the delay in response. I can advise that following our enquiries into the Company there are insufficient funds to enable a distribution to shareholders. The Administrators will shortly be moving the Company to compulsory liquidation and all shareholders will be advised accordingly. I will ensure you email address is added to our mailing list so you receive all future correspondence in this regard."
Sadly its our money and nothing we can do Sad....Duxi
I think the administrators are only paying themselves £600 per hour to administer the BHR assets. Surprisingly theres now nothing left for them to even bother continuing.
BHR shareholders will get any notification about the outcome... How does this work ? is there any time limit for admin process? I am wondering anyone has answer to those... I emailed Baker Tilly they don't even email back :( and Zeo Persey never on her desk!
still here, regards to all, george
Was wondering that myself.
Where has everybody gone ???
Rhyl N Wales willing to travel well done
Hi all, I'm back from holidays, I have an email from the action group with all members emails so we haven't lost that. Where are we all based? Think a meet up would be good. I'm in Wiltshire nr cirencester
Hi guys, Andy posts on UKOG and RMP and Redbike posts on XTR. In my view Andy was not involved with the BHR board and was doing his best to move this forward, but too many brick walls were encountered. He did say in his last posts here in June that to take any class action against the board was now almost impossible, so I am not sure what else he can say here. To move this forward now will be difficult, but if we could get the regulators of the administrators to review how they conducted the process could be a start as it was stated that the administrators should have provided a report on the audit of the assets and ownership and upon the condition of the production facility. I also think Redbikes post from the 31 May is a good starting point to keep the pressure on those in control of the company at the time, and if we could get The Bureau of Investigative Journalism to take an interest then we may get this moving a bit, they can be contacted at www.thebureauinvestigates.com
Might be but I think we need to know the out come from Baker Tilly.before we know the next step.I'm off to airport back in a week.stay in touch its not over.
It is possible if a case was being investigated by the authorities and they know a lot about it they may not be able to discuss anything to do with that case to anyone which would be a possible explanation for their silence
