every cloud has silver lining,i wont be selling but buying at drop, waiting for bounce
i hope
gla
from a Mcap of over 200 million to just 25 million, unbelievable drop , imo the Major shareholder must be surprised how his wealth has been destroyed in this Company at present, I'm sure he will want to rectify the problems asap, and get this back on track
GLA Seems Gold Companies are having a torrid time at the moment, I'm looking forward to a couple to come good over the summer period
looks like a few are jumping in, could be an update tomoz,
GLA Way oversold, imo unless of course the strike goes on for weeks, but company has plenty of time for now on its side,
about time it turned
at 29p, will see what comes around in the next few days, plenty of risk, but on a good outcome of strike negotations plenty of upside,
GLA
Rns after trading
its only a loss when you sell
put in bottom drawer and watch the pullback
need a buy out or someone who can run a mine if they can sort out workforce its still a 200k oz+ producer per year
someone will be sniffing about at this level
just my own opinion
gla
The curse continues.
Best of luck but i'm out, this mine has an old witch doctors curse on it!
The strike goes on for weeks?
killer .... not had that on a share on here before.
Hopefully this isn't going to fold as other. ;o(
This has been falling steadily since 170p, could see some short covering at these levels
you said so twice so your not in and dont wish to be in your view is a big negative so why are you still here ,
if i dont like the look of a stock i mearly dont bother with it.
A company that has a track record of successfully operating gold mines in Burkina Faso (such as SEMAFO) should consider taking this over
Hi RailRIde!
I don't think the ongoing strike is a key factor in the share price fall here.
I think lowered production guidance, very high costs, apparent self-dealing by the Chairman, and possible resource model failure are more significant contributors.
I also think that civil unrest (nearly civil war) in Burkino Faso is a factor, as is the utter corruption of the Liberian authorities. Finally, unremarked upon in the RNS but reported in the Liberian press, there seems to be leakage from the tailings dam at New Liberty, and local communities claim to be suffering from low level cyanide poisoning.
All in all, Avesoro is not a risk I'm inclined to take.
Can a share close on Friday at 94p and then without a single transaction taking place open up Monday morning at 50p ???
Been in this share for a few years now. First share I ever brought in actual fact. Then along comes that billionaire/millionaire Greek Bloke that I understand owns 75% of ASO. I personally think that he wants to own the whole company and is the reason for the RNS today to drop the SP as low as he can get so he can buy all the shares cheaply and own 100% of the company. My opinion only but Millionaires/Billionaires don't care about anything other than making more money. Sorry but that is my opinion. Do not buy this share if you think your going to make money because your not. Good comments on the board earlier. Crooks all of them. Rant over.
So if there is another rns stating the industrial problems are now resolved sp at 55/75ish i bought today so i paid 38 ,
i might of got it a tad cheaper but the upside would make it irrelevant bottom line the all in cost needs to fall or the price of gold needs to rise or a combination of both still at this price there is a good chance of a profit gla.
Well Avesoro is nearly an anagram of oversold and I do like my bargains, it was difficult to not press the buy button today but what someone said earlier to wait till tomorrow made sense to me so tomorrow it is

For a company that will still be producing 200k ounces gold! ($260m cash flow per year at 1300/ounce)
Youga open pit mine workers have stopped work but I think they will go back as they don’t really have much choice. Hopefully another RNS tomorrow or Weds confirming deal with workers to prevent a temporary mine stoppage. If so shareprice will recover somewhat, if not could drop further.
A merger with another African operator perhaps....
1.37m so far
anyone know how many sold/bought today
50s then see what happens.
Or something entirely different.
or, maybe 40 today and 45+ tomorrow.
