Is it worth you pulling together the key questions for Robin for his Investor Presentation via Investor Meet Company? Probably only need 3-5 good ones, like the basis of the EPL valuation.
Cheers
Brookieboy69 thanks for your message.
I do not want to appear as if I always criticise AIM CEO’s as I am always willing to give credit to CEO’s who have manners as they respond to shareholders messages in a timely fashion and they are good communicators!
It amazes me that some CEO’s are lacking when it comes to common sense.
Two examples for AMC:
Firstly, there was no link to the RTO document in the RNS and it was only made available when someone from AMC’s PR department read my post and then out a link on LSE.
Secondly, the deadline for voting on the RTO is 23 May 2024 for receipt of forms of direction and 24 May 2024 for receipt of forms of proxy yet Robin Young’s InvestorMeet is being held on 21 May 2024 which is just 2 clear days before the deadline that Robin set to vote.
If you are a CEO and you want your shareholders to vote in favour of an RTO then surely you should have the common sense to hold the InvestorMeet presentation within a couple of days after the RTO RNS comes and not 8 days after.

Not from AMC’s PR
Any holder who holds their shares through an online broker will be able to vote through their retail broker immediately after the investor meet.
But i would highlight from the form of proxy that "Alternatively, proxy votes can be cast online at https://www.signalshares.com by following the on-screen instructions. If you are not already registered, you will need to obtain your Investor Code from Link Group. Alternatively, you can vote via the LinkVote+ app. LinkVote+ is a free app for smartphone and tablet provided by Link Group (the company’s registrar). It offers shareholders the option to submit a proxy appointment quickly and easily online, as well as real-time access to their shareholding records. The app is available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, or by scanning the relevant QR code below. "
'Any holder who holds their shares through an online broker will be able to vote through their retail broker immediately after the investor meet.'
I'm not sure this will be possible in all cases, online brokers tend to set an earlier deadline. Someone on Telegram said AJ Bell had given them two days to vote. It's poor from RY & Co, though as expected.
It's already available with mine. What surprises me is they've made it this easy to vote. I thought they'd go for the 8 am start, only people in the room vote!
Goneawol - you are right that online brokers impose their own deadlines on retail clients so best to get votes in early. Unfortunately, also the signalshares route is not available to holders who hold shares through online brokers.
What are other retail brokers' deadlines for voting?
I had by the 16th with ajb. Which is obviously stupid given the Q&a date, but what can you do!
