Re shorters I agree... they certainly aren't going to be worrying its come down from £25... however they will need to close at some point Which is around 25m shares at current volumes will take them a fair while.
Signing off for the weekend, far to many days staring at screens this week.
Have a jolly one mate.
Well tbh much of it is a technical, having been oversold down to these levels from £25 per share over only a 2 year period... The weekly MA is around £3 as a starting point. If it were the other way around you would be expecting a pullback, no ??
fundamentals, well they're not ideal and its speculative as you can no doubt see (your book reading BS spotting abilities have always been far better than mine)...
Granted turnaround might not be instant the upside is large & from that I can see the company is in a reasonable financial footing provided the "over" expansion losses/mess can be maintained which with a maturity date of 2024 refinanced in May?
"Final pricing for the new 5-year Facilities is 4.50% above EURIBOR (subject to a 0.0% floor) at an original issue discount of 3.0% on the Euro Tranche, and 4.25% above LIBOR (subject to a 1.0% floor) at an original issue discount of 2.5% on the US Dollar denominated tranche.
Following the completion of the Transaction, the average maturity of Micro Focus's debt capital structure has been extended from 3.2 years to 4.2 years, with the next tranche of Term loans due for repayment in June 2024. "
Interims: (worth noting the interims are for up until 30th April so the worst of the deadly flesh eating zombie virus should be largely priced in ) ??
"· Successful refinancing of $1.4bn Term Loan in May 2020. The Group has no term loan maturities until June 2024.
· The Group had cash and cash equivalents of $808.1m as at 30 April 2020 (31 October 2019: $355.7m), which reflects $633.1m of Operating cash1 and $175.0m of RCF drawn as a precautionary measure. The Group's available liquidity totals $1.1bn.
· Strong cash performance, with Adjusted Cash Conversion1"
Confident they will turn it around maintain their debt and become a divi paying company again..? (not really) … confident it will offer some upside in the short/medium term with much of the slack fundamentals being priced in..? Yes although I did spend a week or more debating on the buy and only took the plunge on Wednesday post election as it held up so strong... there is certainly a possibility it could do one final flush out (£1.50 / £1.60) ? and my SL is at break evens.
Ya pay ya monies....
good timing!
but why the confidence that mcro can turnaround sucessfully?...its b/s is weak
As we speak mate, sunny today, about 6mph today, beaches were empty, not sure what all the fuss is about, limited by zombies not shares up in the smog.
MCRO?
perhaps a glimmer...
yep...and you
been in Cornwall recently?

Be good to see a few insiders buying as it might be a sign that they will not need funding to get through the CV19 period. With the US election done things may pick up there especially with a vaccine on the horizon.
Jolly my man hope you are keeping well. Long time.
will they need new funding??
ps we need Riddler's expertise
The SP is really priced for this to be going bust and it must make any holder worried as the financial PR has been so awful for a long time. News which doesn't confirm that ALT is not burning cash will bring this sub 10p and maybe lower.
The month end is near so we should have some news from ALT in the next day or so. I expect at best another PR non event although the BOD have shown themselves fairly inept in dealing with the market in recent times.
Sounds like he would fit in nicely with Boris & his cronnies!
it's the riddler way: disown failure
Hahaa I liked that one, Jolly!
losing altitude..is riddler still a passenger?
Still looks likely to drift lower for the near term.
still looking ugly
They didn't like my post because it mentioned the competition and so deleted it
At least in the other place you can pm someone without being a member
There is a W forming in the chart here which would take us back to 50p.
I’m in for a few.
Nai/DYOR
Might buy some as can see a very swift return to 30p area imho.
Nai/DYOR
given how unclear the update was, anyone's guess whether a placement is coming down the track
? Just so I know they won’t have do a placing anytime soon
Anyone
& market agrees
was pretty dire imv
