Nice to see it going in upward trend positive signs baron83 looks like those charts were correct. Never been a user of charts but there has to be some credence to them especially in conjunction with other research.
The Iron Woman from Glasgow says Ye Haw. You'll need to excuse me as I'm suffering from Aims withdrawal symptoms. I should be back to normal in a few weeks' time.
Yes, nice start hope it can continue. Not going up as fast as came down, down 11% in 2 days but at lease positive.
Morning mate, still here from my 15.73 entry on Friday. Obviously very happy with the move up. Technicals played out again here. GLA
Morning all. Nice to see so many posters this morning (lol)
Hoping it was up today (oops its Sunday) lol
Hi all. Nice to see a few posts. As Dow closed up and based on the info that has been on here I am hoping for a blue start monday and to make some headway. Good luck all.
I didn't realise you were a Scotsman by Jove! From Edinburgh eh? "You'll have had your tea." as they say to visitors unlike us warm hearted folk in the west who like Arts graduates ask would you like some fries with your meal. Seriously though Edinburgh is a beautiful city and in fine fettle this month with the Royal Tattoo, festival and fringe festival. I have had a couple of stays at the nts property right on Royal Mile - a wonderful street from Holyrood Palace, past the Scottish Parliament Building, passed the Cannon Kirk where Zara Phillips got married all the way up to Edinburgh Castle. I think that bagpiping busker though starts at 7 am and is still there till 10 pm ! Hope this reminds you of Home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mLaHIPcRCY
I've just realised that Aggreko's Head office is in Bothwell Street, Glasgow within walking distance of the Employment Tribunal service in the same street. But ignore my sense of humour.
Thanks for the ta info and good luck with your trade. I'm hoping for a more ball busting return over a longer spell.
Well a quick look round the bbs seems to suggest that there has been a whole lot of buying of agk going on over the last few days and the traffic on here has become a far cry from the 15 posts since May that I was referring to the other night. Without checking my trading account, I can tell you that my buy order will have triggered yesterday afternoon and I might have even been lucky and it will have executed a pence or two lower than set. I was encouraged that my learned friend levis and another poster were of a mind to buy in here this coming Monday. I don't do ta but I look at fundamentals and have a nose for news which has led me to be a little bullish a little earlier than levis with rio to good effect in the past lol. though I am not sure if either of us have had a great deal of success with kaz in the recent past. I assume you will be taking some sort of position yourself here at some point as you don't post your observations on many bbs. The dear green place. Depending on the weather, I will be taking a pensioner to see the roses in Tollcross park today or the Scotland Street Museum. Thank goodness the city Faithers provided these as well as the marble staircases in the city chambers and the damp council houses. Ayr Flower show tomorrow. Have a good weekend.
Must admit dont understand these charts I use research and gut instinct. I hope you are correct. Best wishes and have a good weekend. I do think as well however, that some will depend on how DOW goes for rest of day
Above 50 MA on 5 mins chart (always a marker) and 200 MA on 1 minutes (if you like to go that macro like I do!!) for first time since time since drop. Hoping for bounce on Monday and would coincide with red line rsi move on daily chart. Normally a springboard up move. Let's see. I'm in for 3 or 4% but threw a load at this just before 14:30. GL.
A page full of blue yet share price down 3% who says market makers cant control shares. Unbelievable
I almost bought in yesterday - like Levis waiting for Monday - big outfit will bounce back
I have held AGK since 2008 , and sold in the highs of 23, . the competition today is greater than back then , you have APR , RRS, and other companies all looking for a slice of the cake . Aggreko have picked up 100mw Gas in Ivory Coast this year but they lost 220mw in Angola , so in all they are 120 mw down in East Africa alone , and then there is other countries that are coming off hire . So my prediction of the low 12 / 13 is my prediction , as I cannot see any more large contracts coming there way . HFO is new and as such they only have orders for around 100mw and that includes the 56mw that was installed last month , its a good product and time will tell if it is successful , I will keep my cash in SOLG for now as I see that as a better return short term than AGK
And you. Best Wishes
And what happens if there is no support ??? Like yesterday down and down ??
Just seems on a downward spiral. Is there no bottom ???
Lively on the kaz bb today and some news I gather. Have a good weekend.
Likewise, another informative post, Thank You
Nice to see a posting and info on company. All helps
Personally I think this a typical market over-reaction. Lloyds results yesterday may have left traders doing a quick whip around to see what they could offload to get into Lloyds, and lo and behold there's some slightly negative news from Agk. Despite not reaching the highs of last year, AGK has hit the £18 mark twice so far this year, and I see no reason why it will not do so again. We know that even in developed countries like the UK and US, the energy figures in the near future don't add up. As more strain is placed on the existing infrastructure to meet the shortfall, things are going to break, and companies like AGK will be heavily in demand to keep the lights on. This is ignoring entirely the emerging markets, where as the MD points out, they want fridges and TVs. Money where mouth is, topped up this morning :-)
I don't think it was highlighted in yesterday's outlook but in earlier rns's the power plant has taken working capital to get started first half in Africa, this is now online and will give a lift going forward. Good to see the cooling aspect improving, goes to show money is being spent in developing countries on something that would normally just be suffered. Apr energy have won some good deals first half this year but I think there is plenty to go round, power is needed for anywhere to develop and the infrastructure takes time to put in. Good luck all, I believe anything under 17 quid and you can't go wrong.
I can see you are a man (I presume) of few words. Even if you think this is a minger then it's not likely to be as much of a minger as solg is it? I and hubby sold it on St.Andrew's Day 2011 for 12p or something. And at least you get a nice divi here eh. Maybe catch you laters.
