I guess I was partially right new board members now appointed. NC and kola karim now running this show. good move up in the sp. looking foward to seeing what plans they have.
stocking up or coburg increasing their stake once again this is a lot of volume more than on a normal day
I say sell them while they're on a high, they'll dive down again next week! Nice little profit this morning. :)
is brewing thats a big jump.in.the sp
ments?
From rns, are they still not waiting for AIM to allow the new BODs to take control: "The Company hopes to be in a position to announce the appointments of Mr Nicholas Antony Clarke (Nick Clarke) and Mr Orikolade Adebayo Karim (Kola Karim) to the Board, in accordance with the AIM Rules, shortly. "
Coburg upping their stake is afe for not the first time.what is going on they must know something we don't only time will tell......
movements so far.gla.
on the move, Shoreline investment news must be close
anglo group selling up shares reduced their holding to 1.5%
Yes I see that now. AFE have nothing 100 %to their name. I have a feeling AFE will buy back Dutwa, but I probably dont know what I am talking about haha
sorry ... coburg
all seem to baling out. now its anglo pacific which would explain the static sp even with all the recent buying. allard was the strangest. why bale out now after years of holding? its all now shoreline , nc , and coberg.
Look at the SP versus the spread!
nc and kk stocking up with all these large trades? time will tell
Is it a buy? Its in grey?
8,005,000 trade gone through = £20k.. Buy!
Reckon too soon yet . May have to wait till KK gets legs under table and settled. Looking at his history he doesn't move in unless he is sure of his ground.
Some big buying (by AFE's standards) in the last couple of days. Could there be another positive RNS on the way?
I see Mr KK has a lot of interests in Nigeria and around the world. I wonder what he finds of interest in AFE. Lets hope it means some positive movement and action to get us out of the doldrums. At my current price not a snowballs chance in the hot place of getting it back unless I plunge for an avge down at these low prices. So here goes I may as well put in a bit to save the bulk. I did note your comments however Mogo. I reckon it worth the gamble on an injection of KK's abilities GLA espec. all long time holders
Some good points fellas but the Bottom line is that even after Thursday/Fridays falls the price of nickel has still risen by 30pc over the past 12 months whilst all this has been going on which makes the demise of the Eagle even more disappointing especially to the many long term holders of this stock - but we are where we are - and if NC can pull it off it will make him a fortune and perhaps rightly so for his enterprise - if not then the previous regime have a lot to answer for as they miscalculated badly even if it wasn't done intentionally but that's why investing on Aim will more often than not leave u feeling the blues - but as the saying goes - it's never over til it's over so whilst that remains hope springs eternal GLA
the nickel result shows how unreliable mining has been since 2010-11.Of course AFE aren't directly in mining any more. They need to be looking at other avenues as my earlier post said.GL
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-05-15/nickel-plunges-more-than-9-biggest-slump-since-2011.html todays report.
AFE could show by a left field move like in my 12.25 they were capable of offering a new direction that way,or by some other means,,
