I'll wait until the placement is out the way first, however.
As I said in my post, I still believe the company has a bright future. However, I had a rather large holding - 100K of shares, I wasn't prepared to wait around for the inevitable fall that followed. I am, however, just about ready to buy back in. All the best for now.
I must take issue with your decision to sell in the mid 30's. As you mentioned in an earlier post, this is a long term Bottom Draw share and the present SP could be seen as a good entry point. The fact that one of the main II is Woodford, leads me to believe that there is a future here. I follow Woodford and although he is not infallible, he usually get's it right. It will be interesting to see the upcoming Gilead phase 2 results which will confirm if your decision was correct, or slightly premature. Looking at the projections, we are still a year or so away from income growth and much is being spent on infrastructure. I do agree that the Directors shareholding is a bit of a worry. I like companies where Directors have something to lose, other than their jobs!
here on the AIM market. The promise of jam never materialises, the heard has moved on, and the SP on the floor. Hope things turn around. Odd that the company provided no explanatory notes / commentary with the RNS.
due to the DOW decline, no doubt. Sold out of this in the mid-30s. Looking back seems like the right decision. I still believe, however, that the company has a bright future. GLA
Directors don’t have more of a holding. Assuming the Taiwan and/or US deals pan out, getting involved at this price has potential but the above is a puzzle. Any thoughts from LTH’s who have a reasoned view?
Nice little service contract ! Results due soon !
Notification
Be interesting to know. Presumably a buy, given the price.
No. Just done some more research. Seems Canaccord Genuity have completed their acquisition of Hargreaves Hale: http://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/canaccord-genuity-wealth-management-in-the-uk--europe-completes-acquisition-of-hargreave-hale-limited-645348913.html
Have they just bought Hargreaves Hale's stake here?
illiquid*
Hmm - tell me about it. I'm heavily invested here. Part of the reason is that it's an liquid share, mainly held by IIs. What this means is we get huge swings on comparatively small volume.
to have dropped too much to me.
Anyone attending?
I think you're right, unfortunately.
can see the sp dropping today
Nice bit of SP consolidation before the AGM.
My own view is this share is vastly undervalued. But we won't see that reflected for a while. It's an excellent contender for part of one's 'growth' portfolio - but it's a bottom draw, come back in 2/3 years time. Nice to see HH continuing to increase their stake (on behalf of discretionary clients, it seems). GLA.
RNS out
no. However, not sure such a drop should be precipitated by the update. The claim is not a result of ABZA's actions, but relates to the activities of a subsidiary - PRIOR TO acquisition. Financial provision has been made. Perhaps more will come to light at the AGM. GLA
Presumably the 1.5m share 'sells' - must be HH's 'buys' last week - delayed.

Continuing to increase their stake.
http://www.businessweekly.co.uk/news/local-sharewatch/abzena-revenues-surge-signals-major-expansion-us Oldish news - but an interesting read, all the same. GLA
