David Lenigas, Former Chairman of Artemis has just tweeted:

Gervaise Heddle, CEO of Greatland Gold [JV Partner - Newcrest] has just given an interview with Share Talk today, Thur, 30 Jan 2020.
https://twitter.com/HTrader64/status/122282635617157954
----
Hard to hear certain words but this is what Mr Heddle said: ".. 200 METRES to the NORTH bridging zone [bridging zone?] , figure out true EXTENT of the system - OPEN."
In another interview with Proactive Investors, Mr Heddle also mentions NORTH WEST - Havieron. Newcrest also mentioned North West, Havieron - OPEN.
If I understood correctly, then there is still 200m to come to the North of Havieron to test or North West. So, does this mean potentially over 450 METRES per last night*s Newcrest report + 200m to come to the North? North of Havieron is Artemis*s Armada licence. Aaandi, a poster said that there is a 200m zone between Havieron and Artemis*s Armada.
Interesting.

News
DYOR. Pls check.
The potential resource at Havieron [Newcrest farm in with GGP] has now to be re-worked.
The reason is that Newcrest has furnished the dimensions per their Qtr Report last night, Wed 29 Jan 2020 as "over 450m s t r i k e, up to 150m wide and in excess of 600m vertical extent."
-----
Unfortunately, the 1,200m was not correct as measured by external data ie sat.
Newcrest report:
https://twitter.com/NewcrestMining/status/1222637764417425410
dated 30 Jan 2020 in Australia relating to Havieron [GGP/Newcrest farm-in]
Quote:
"Continuity of mineralisation OVER 450 m of s t r i k e, up to 150 m wide and in excess of 600m vertical extent. A zone of higher grade mineralisation has been defined within the broader mineralised envelope."
"Mineralisation remains OPEN to the NORTH WEST and at DEPTH."
-----
My Comment:
The historical magnetic and anomaly map produced by GGP did appear to show that the North West was the area of the former. That has turned out correct and confirmed by Ed Mead [Scott] that Newcrest was approaching their boundary [Artemis Armada]. Ed Mead is the CEO of Artemis. In news, 12 hrs ago, Alastair Clayton has been appointed to be director of Artemis. Clayton is the CEO of Primorous Investments. With Clayton*s role, Artemis is looking to seek a dual-listing in the UK. Not surprised given Newcrest stating about the North West. North of Havieron is the boundary to Artemis*s Armada.

News
Now that results are out from Newcrest, it was a nice surprise. Drill results were to the upside.
On the other forum, Pr0t0n has posted at 22:37, 29.1.20 :"Drilling has partially defined the EXTENTS of mineralisation which are observed OVER 400m STRIKE within a arcuate shaped mineralised zone and to depths of up to 1,100m RL." [From the said Newcrest report I assume?]
As said prior to the release of the Newcrest report, the EXTENT is of import.

Wed 29 Jan 2020 at 11:15pm
In a few hours, Newcrest will issue their Qtr Report on Wed, 29 Jan 2020 in the UK which will be 30 Jan 2020 in Australia.
What am I expecting?
Relating to Newcrest*s farm-in to Havieron, Paterson, Western Australia, one would expect to see further drilling results like the last time?
Not expecting anything spectacular. Why? After 17 drills or so, the rest of the drill results will follow.
The case-in-point is to determine the EXTENT. From GGP, they said that the magnetic anomaly of Havieron is 1,000m x 1,000m. From Artemis*s CEO, Ed Mead, he said that Newcrest are drilling close to their boundary at Havieron.
Numis has done a short report and they used 2g/t as a metric for the overall grade of the Havieron project. Sprotts has done a model and this is also dependent on the area size [based on 80m initially]. Numis used 300m x 200m x 800m [depth] @ 2g/t per their Aug 2019 report.
So, it is standard that the o v e r a l l size of the extent of mineralisation is of import . When all the holes are inputted, one can then see if the overall grade of 2g/t holds per Numis report.
This is common in all mining projects? Hence, why a Maiden Resource Statement will incorporate all the drill holes to produce the overall grade and ultimately the size of the deposit.
As for the share price of the farm-out co, one expects that it will trade in a range until the catalyst appears eg re-rate or otherwise [vice versa]? Again, norm.

My Comment:
Havieron came to the attention of Sprotts in Jan 2019 prior to Newcrest*s farm-in. Sprotts produced a broker report.
Havieron is now gaining notice from the investment industry eg Janus Henderson.

For discussion.
Depending on the depth etc, the holes may be less etc. So awaiting the next announcement relating to Hole 19-33 results and Havieron progress.
Appears that Havieron North to South has made a lot of progress and shortly appears to have tested the anomaly of 1,000m x 1,000m.

I have used the Numis broker research basic info given [Proactive & Mining Maven] and checked with the Sprott*s broker research to determine the potential size of Havieron [Numis report was at Havieron Hole 1-18] at this stage. It was an interesting exercise.
Newcrest will be reporting the next set of results from Havieron, Paterson, Western Australia [45km from their own Telfer mine 27-32moz] as and when ie Havieron Hole 19-33 and that should prove interesting to see the depth and the step-outs + in-fill if any.
From satellite imagery of Havieron it does appear that West to East[across] has been drilled to test for the step-outs etc and now they are heading for Havieron West-South and West North [height].
Newcrest is drilling the Havieron farm-in 24/7 with 6 drilling rigs.

In Mar 2019, Newcrest farmed into Havieron via a US$65m deal. [Intro]
Some highlights:
"Pg 7: How big is Havieron? As it stands, consensus for Havieron*s resource is between 3Moz-4Moz of gold equivalent. Indeed, this is the minimum fig was quoted in a research note on Greatland by Numis in Aug 2019."
"At an assumed grade of 2g/t, this figure indicates that the Havieron deposit contains between 50Mts & 60Mts of Mineralised Material. However, there is an increasing bank of evidence to suggest that Havieron could,in fact, be significantly larger than this."
"Firstly, 3D g r a v i ty & m a g n e t i c models completed by Greatland before the farm-in indicated that the potential for mineralisation to extend from (c) 400m below surface to 1,200m across some 300m."
"Secondly, drilling has already c o n f i r m e d that mineralisation has been observed over 950m v e r t i c a l extent and has e x t e n d ed the deposit to the n o r th & w e s t."
"Even so, it is quite possible Havieron contains in excess of 100Mts of mineralised material..in excess of 5Moz."
"Regardless, Newcrest*s ongoing commitment to further drilling is strongly suggestive of its ambitious attitude towards Havieron..there are plenty of indicators that Havieron could play host to a much larger gold deposit than the m a r k e t currently a s s u m e s."
"Newcrest*s most recent drilling results came in Oct 2019..4 sub-vertical zones of higher grade mineralisation within a larger mineralised envelope. ..extended Havieron*s envelope to the n o r t h & at depth." ["over 950m vertical, up from 700m."
My Comment:
Numis broker report was first reported in parts by Proactive Investors and the above gives a bit more detail.
Newcrest*s latest ann on 23.10.19 gives results from Havieron Hole 14-18. [Greatland drilled 9 holes and obtained the Newcrest farm-in. Newcrest then drill Havieron Hole 10-14 and said that Hole 19-33 is in various stages of progress on 23 Oct 2019.
Numis*s gave the dimensions for Havieron as 300m [across], 200m [height] and 800m [depth] at 2g/t per their broker report via Proactive Investors.
Sprotts on 14Jan 2019 did a broker reports and used 80m radius with the various sensitivity chart to give Moz starting from an assumption of 2g/t, depth extent 800m based on a cylindrical resource with a "80m radius" to be 3.103 Moz. For 1,000 extent, it then goes to 3.879Moz [same assumptions at 2g/t].
SATELLITE IMAGERY
From the latest seen as at mid-Nov 2019, the tool measured it at 1,200m across [Greatland cites 1,000m x 1,000m as the anomaly and 1.5m as the strike].
It appears that the latest drilling is now Havieron South & North on the W e s t e r n
Newcrest*s Telfer Mine [per said Antipa presentation]:
800metres of strike
In excess of 1,000km below surface.
Versus
Newcrest Havieron farm in with GGP, also in Paterson, W.A [45km from Telfer]
Strike 1.5km
RNS of 25 Oct 2019 [from GGP] said 950m depth [1,000m+].
This was posted today [see my previous 2 posts] to check.
So, appears that Newcrest*s farm in Havieron may be t w i c e the strike length of their previous Telfer and almost the same depth?
Await to see the results for Havieron Hole 19-33 per Newcrest*s 23 Oct 2019 Ann.

Fri, 15 Nov 2019
The above is awaited tonight from Newcrest Qtr report in Australia, Wed 23 Oct 2019.
Newcrest*s Hole 15-19 was reported in their last Qtr report on 9 Sep 2019 but with no assay results yet.
From satellite pics etc and possibly 1 hole a week drilled, one may expect another 5 holes drilled ie Havieron Hole 20-24 mentioned in tonight*s report.
--------------------------------
Dr Bruce Rohlach, PhD Geologist at Cascabel said that 18-23 holes may be sufficient to produce a Maiden Resource Report.
Without going over old ground, Edward [Ed] Mead, CEO [Geologist] tweeted earlier that they expect a Maiden Resource from Newcrest*s Havieron in Paterson, Western Australia.
So, this is something commonly known.
For ref: BHP offered an investment proposal of a 10% stake in Solgold for US$30million and a US$275m to acquire 85% of EN SA which holds the tenements. This was at Cascabel Hole 17.
From the link https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/trending/xegsigup-palc_ijfl_dag2 it mentioned that Newcrest & Maxit re: $33million financing. Newcrest invested in Cascabel much earlier.
So, that is proof that at Hole 17 [BHP] or earlier [Newcrest] could already read the DRILLING RESULTS.
So, tonight*s results from Newcrest relating to Havieron Hole 15-19 is going to be insightful.
Also, awaiting the new satellite pic tonight showing Newcrest*s last hole at Havieron prior to releasing their Qtr Report.
Progressive produced a broker report under GGP [Farmed in by Newcrest] and from recall they said Havieron is a high-grade zone? One will find out tonight.
From the Numis report of 9 Sep 2019, they gave 300m length x 200m x 800m depth at 2g/t.
Satellite imagery from PaddyGall showed 1.2km [East to West] & 400m North to South at Havieron.
Kindly check. DYOR.

The article said that Antipa drilled "9 b r o a d l y spaced reverse circulation drill holes which intersected significant copper gold+-/zinc. Also, the strike is 1.8km.
The article also mentioned Rio*s Winu and Greatland Gold*s "eye catching gold hits at Havieron." Havieron is under Newcrest as they farmed into the project with Greatland Gold.

Tomorrow, Newcrest will report their Qtr Activity Report in Australia which will be on Wed, 23 Oct 2019 after mid-night in the UK.

"But now, everyone wants a piece, thanks to t i e r 1 paydirt Rio Tinto & Newcrest/Greatland Gold are hitting at their respective Winu & Havieron discoveries."

In this article, Antipa mentions a strike of 1.8km at 4 greenfield targets. Mentioning this as it illustrates the type of strike length since it is a Havieron lookalike?
P.S. Rio*s Winu, also in Paterson is a copper discovery. Havieron is more of a gold-copper discovery. From articles, Rio*s Winu copper grade is around 1% cu but I do not recall Rio giving out the average grade.

Similarly, a 8 0 m RADIUS cyclinder clearly over-simplifies the geometry, yet at the same time could grossly underestimate the LATERAL extent of the ore as well, for potential >10Moz s i z e."
Kindly check: 1,2km is 600m r a d i u s.
So, without any interpretation but merely simple maths from Sprotts chart, 3
"Sprotts chart shows if 2g/t, depth extent 800m, it is 3,103"
Sprotts shows a detailed chart right up to a sensitive analysis of 5g/t Au and up to 1,000 depth.
Sprott*s also states at the bottom of the chart: " Soure SCP estimate, based on a cylindrical resource with a 80m radius."
Observation:
So, 1.2km [satellite pic dated 18.10.19] appears to be 600m r a d i u s. Sprotts quote 80m radius = 3.103, so 600m = 7.5x 3.103= 23.27 ???
Kindly check.
Mon, 21 Oct 2019
A background:
Hole 1-9 was drilled at Havieron by GGP.
Newcrest then farmed into Havieron and released assays for Hole 10-14 dated 9 Sep 2019. Newcrest also said that Hole 15-19 were drilled and awaiting assays [5 holes].
<>Newcrest*s Next Exploration Report will be released on Wed, 23 Oct 2019, Australian time which around mid-night in the UK.
From observation, it takes about 1 wk per hole so by the time 23.10.19 arrives, Newcrest could have drilled another 5 holes ie Hole 20-24.
<>Numis report - 9 Sep 2019
Numis gave the dimensions as 3 0 0 metres [across] x 200 metres x 800 metres deep at 2g/t gold [Au}. Ref title: "Numis coverage of Greatland Gold is a harbinger of greater things to come." - Proactive Investors, 22 Aug 2019 by Alastair Ford.
On the 9 Sep 2019, only Havieron Hole 10-14 assays were known so Numis is reporting on Hole 10-14.
<>Newcrest produced the "Plan View" which showed Havierion in Paterson from West to East [denoted by two dotted lines to show the p a t h of the drilling] and North to South [Open]. Link: https://www.greatlandgold.com/paterson/
The Newcrest Plan View gave the detailed assay results and this showed that the W e s t side [towards Newcrest Telfer mine] showed far higher grades for copper and gold than the East side.
<>Satellite pictures of Havierion dated 18 Oct 2019
This is on open file and thanks to PaddyGall who provided the satellite picture which is on open file. It seems that every 5 d a y s, the satellite takes the picture.
So, by 23 Oct 2019 there will be a n o t h e r updated satellite pic.
From PaddyGall*s satellite pic, it shows the h o l e s that are d r illed. I counted them and I think it is 23 holes but it could be 24 as its a bit hard to see one of them.
More importantly, the satellite pic appears to show that there are more drill holes on the West side and they look like s t e p - o u ts.
PaddyGall said that there is a tool that measures the p o i n t s between East to West and it is "1.2 km" & 400m North to South.
This appears to show that the step-out is from 300m [Numis 9.9.19 info] to 1.2km which is 900 metres more. And from North to South, it is from 200m to 400m ie 200metres step-out. Shows end to end East to West hole to hole.
News agencies etc could pick out how far Rio Tino drilled at Winu, also at Paterson from publicly available satellite pics. Ref: "Latest images show Rio*s WA copper find looking like a +3km monster."- Livewire.com.au, 5 Apr 2019 Quote: " At 1.4km l o n g, Rio*s Winu copper gold find in WA was already extensive. But new satellite i m a g e s reveal drilling now extends over 3km."
Conclusion:
So, everyone in the press is looking at public satellite pictures that show the holes drilled. The 1st stage Rio reached was 1.4km. So Newcrest appears to have reached 1.2km.
From GGP*s info, the magnetic anomaly for Havieron is 1,000m x 1,000m.
So, it is common that all majors look to test c o n t i n u i t
The Mackenzie Wood gold team prepared a report on the above.
Quote:
"Agnico Eagle, AngloGold, Ashanti, Kinross and Newcrest are actively investing in or entering JV*s with junior gold co*s to create long term value."
Relating to Newcrest, Mackenzie stated: " Newcrest report on Sep 10th that its exploration program on the Havieron project, located 45km from Telfer in Australia, has 4 operating rigs, which have cut 6,166 metres and a 5th drill will begin in Sep. It will, however, be some time before this activity translates into reserves & ultimately into production."
