yes Cooper, moving into the private sector is very good as I posted recently that there is plenty of capacity with the mega labs/PHE to cope with current NHS testing,(so nowt for us there), so yes a good move. I am told we still work with NCYT but for how long is anyone's guess, considering we are setting up our own kits.
Indeed bakky. That's why when we got the news yesterday of the testing service for covid and also that yourgene will produce it's own test kits you know this was not some half-****ed idea to jump on the bandwagon but rather a calculated approach where a pipeline of opportunities exist.
If you understand the importance of our Ceo, you understand that nothing is done on a whim with Lyn rees, rather it's done on solid research, ability and endeavour. I fully expect us to benefit from the new infectious disease offerings into the covid space and the idea of creating a test kit is top notch.
I delighted where we are right now and how we move forth.
yes Cooper, add to that Adam Reynolds recently said LR is the best CEO he has ever worked with. High praise considering Adam has worked with so many!
Start with the Ceo, That's what I did.
The Ceo of this company is the difference here and one of the most important factors in my decision to invest.
Lyn is a seasoned executive in global healthcare and IVD markets. Prior to joining Yourgene Health, Lyn was Group CEO at British Biocell International (now BBI Group) for over 9 years.
He began that role at BBI Group following the acquisition of BBI Holdings by Alere in 2008 and in his time, he oversaw the doubling of revenue growth and has developed an accountable and highly effective senior management team with clear focus on innovation, commercial delivery, compliance and operational efficiency. Lyn has completed 7 acquisitions during his tenure at BBI Group, all of which have been successfully integrated. He founded BBI Detection and BBI Animal Health and has demonstrated a strong track record of organic and acquisitive growth.
Before this role, he spent several years as the Managing Director and founder of BBI Healthcare in 2006 following the successful purchase of the GlucoGel product. He first began his business career as the European Marketing Manager at Shimano Europe BV. Lyn holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Wales.
I have every faith in him to repeat and improve on his previous accomplishments with BBI and take yourgene into the big league. Look at what he's done here in such a short timeframe and the best of it is, he's only just getting started.
All that experience, all those contacts, all that personal development of running a global business for years is now solely focussed here at youregene.
You only need to look at what he has done, then read the last 3 months worth of RNS and you will see exactly why most of us here have so much faith in what's happening here.
