So, if Lyn had been more specific about the impact to NIPT business say in the June timeframe, what do you think would’ve happened to the share price?
It would almost certainly have dropped, right?
Sentiment would be lower, right?
Then what would’ve happened when he raised money later in the summer?
Yes, you’ve guessed it ..., it would’ve almost certainly been at a lower price and therefore caused more dilution, right?
Would all the BB armchair CEO’s who think they can do a better job be happier with that? A lower SP and more dilution - just to feel informed? Needing to hear before the H1 trading update that one region for one part of the business had a blip due to the global pandemic?
We have around £12m in the bank, new products and services ramping up and despite the blip in H1, confirmed commitment to the £24.8/£25m revenue targets for FY.
IMO, he has acted in the best interests of shareholders, resiliently :=)
If he doesn’t make his £24.8m by year end, I’ll have custard with my humble pie, thanks!
"it's OK to have a positive outlook about the totality of this company as an investment choice, while questioning certain aspects of their performance and the quality of their communications."
Of course it is ok.
The issue is SCooper not only NEVER does the above. He attacks and smears anyone else who tries to discuss in this manner causing the issue to magnify in discourse.
Shut up and sell if you even hold. Repeatedly treats his biased assumptions as facts.
SCooper knows I am the sorcerer. He knows it! lol
Clearly not his finest assumptions ramping day today, unwilling to accept posters may want to explore issues on a discussion board and ironically perpetuating and making it a bigger issue as he's repeatedly done. Counter productive S
Btw I've said this before. 're. So what if we have to have another shot etc.
Wow! Expert on news literally just said all I have. Perhaps you better move from Sky news.
I'm not digging SCooper.
If we have limited antibody persistence then I see only one clear way out. It's not testing alone. It's still a vaccine. If that vaccine needs regular top ups then so be it and so what. It's the best we would have to get immunity running. Now it's been stated that a vaccine is likely t to offer better antibody protection than the apparent weak natural antibody protection period. It's the common sense solution with facts as we currently have then. To assume no vaccine will work well enough to be effective is the outlier.
SnakeCooper must be a real patsy for conspiracy theorists lol
So I am not invested an d I am also the sorcerer.
Sorcerer,
You see the problem. S for brains just insists on making assumptions that are completely wrong and treating them as fact. Time and time again.
SCoopers posts are just worthless.
OK, have it your way Cooper - there are some people on here that have been invested since the Vialogy days, so we've been around the block and pay attention to what's going on. Some of us have also developed a very detailed understanding of how the financial dynamics of the business have been evolving and may even have modelled projections of our own that show eye-watering potential for future revenue growth which, coupled with the huge operational gearing, suggest that this company is poised to become a money generating machine in the coming months / years.
HOWEVER, that does not mean that we are not free to point out things that we believe have been poorly communicated or inadequately explained - it's what these forums are for.
PS even a cursory glance at my posting history would clearly demonstrate that I have no hint of an affiliation with Twix, but I guess you didn't bother looking before making that wild assertion.
sorcerer
I know your a twix alias. I'll play along though. Twix and his aliases think it's ok to talk the company down by asking pre-empted questions on an almost on a daily basis whilst trying to pretend to be invested.
This is AIM. Nobody's money is safe, the primary function of companies on aim is to raise funds. Every time you purchase a stock listed on aim your are more or less taking a punt. So, to be on this bb and venting your spleen about how the bod are corrupt, liars, dishonest whilst claiming to be a holder is very disingenuous and is and should be a concern for genuine holders. This is not the twix show, it's not about his feelings.
If you expect anyone here to know more than is in the public domain then your barking up the wrong tree. These important questions that certain people need answered should be directed to the BOD in your own personal time and feel free to keep them to yourself. Nobody is interested in knee jerk reactions to the day to day fluctuations.
The bigger picture is what investing is about.
every day for months now whinge whinge whinge pmsl
Cooper, I have no desire to enter your personal spat with Twix, but this is a discussion forum not an appreciation society - it's OK to have a positive outlook about the totality of this company as an investment choice, while questioning certain aspects of their performance and the quality of their communications. That's what these boards are for and we can all then make an informed choice about our investments. You don't have to agree with everything a company does to regard it as a good investment.
pmsl
keep digging twix. There is no immunity to speak of and a vaccine can't give it for a length of time which would deem it sufficient. Booster shots is a fanciful way of not giving up on your incessant promise of a vaccine for the last 6 months.
Hemo's post didn't interest me because I know what I have invested in and I have faith in the bod to deliver. I won't be swayed by BB mongrels who feel the need to vent their spleen when they don't like their own investment decisions. It shows a complete lack of understanding and it shout out how stupid one is to purchase a stock then make accusations regarding the BOD.
Should I ever feel the need to be unhappy with Ygen I will sell and move on, wishing everyone else good luck.
You won't see me blaming anyone but myself for MY decisions.
No vaccine will work?
Try justifying that statement for once!
Just take oxford vaccine. It's shown to promote an effective response for antibodies and T cell response. The question that I agree is valid is length of immunity for antibodies, which I have addressed. Instead of doing your usual try providing some relevant detail to back up your repeated claim? I think you're full of S
Of course I will assume it goes without doubt that the question a majority of posters here would like answered. Let's call it the Hemo Question doesn't even interest you. You are such a transparent ramper, but I congratulate you on your cover of Mr Reasonable. Well played S
Critical thinking that is. Lol
Too many misrepresentation to count SCooper.
Clem chambers isn't any sort of benchmark. I stated MY views before his YouTube was even posted or acted on. I simply said he has the view I have expressed. I don't take any advice from bb.
If antibodies have a short life. Immunity will not come naturally. It will come from a vaccine that needs follow up shots after a period. The vaccine then creates the herd immunity. It's then the way to achieve it and would have to be done thus. Frankly it's plan A as I agree herd immunity unlikely any other way and its not ideal but it's all we will have and is workable to get us out of this acute situation. Artificial vaccine herd immunity would be the best possible to alleviate an impossible situation and better than the alternative of testing alone.
SCooper, You persist in misrepresentation. I will assume they are deliberate.
Keep up the ramping and assumptions as facts S
One wonders just how lost you would be enrolling into a critical Thai king course. All at sea I suspect.
I hardly think that would be deemed as acceptable natdan. The left would not allow it.
Testing is the only way
Another scenario re vaccine/testing debate: governments finally realise that test/trace is a pointless exercise and falls into total disrepute ( nearly there in the uk), begin to treat the Kung flu on a par with seasonal flu, aim to vaccinate the target vulnerable groups, and the rest resume normal existence and try to salvage the remains of the economy so as to be able to repay the government’s favourite contractors (Serco, Deloitte and more Serco). Oh and promote Dido to head the nhs.
£12 mill in the bank with the lure of another acquisition always hanging like a huge carrot.
We will p155 £25 mill this year imo.
Got to have faith otherwise why put your money down? must be mental to load up on a stock you constantly have to question lol
No such thing as herd immunity with regards to covid.
No antibodies live long enough to give immunity
No vaccine will work
Testing and shielding is the only way to manage the pandemic.
twix, you have raised questions again and again. No let up. Constantly bashing away, Where does it end? it never does.
Do you simply want to constantly ask questions? if so are you unaware of what you have bought? do you need some special help? is the stock marker for you? you raise more questions with your aliases too. You do realise we have no more info than what is in the public domain? so you are asking us to answer what is already known or that we don't have the answers too?
you seem very armature in your approach. No investor worth his salt would ever seek knowledge or advice on this chat or any chat and none would ever...ever.ever cite Clem chambers as a benchmark for anything to do with investing hahaha
I think you need to go and invest elsewhere.
sell if you hold.
From a glass half full perspective, the IONA NX sales should be coming online, and DYPD (the weed) May also come to the rescue.
Thank god (or is that the Bod) that we are now a broader company than just NIPT on the TF platform eh?! We also have nearly £12m in the bank , and at worst case have £500k a month income from testing for another 6 months.
If we make £25m revenue this year, that’s about 50% growth in a pandemic ...
Is it really that depressing?!
JAdam
Not sure I fully agree but let's say broadly that may all be correct. Once herd immunity is confirmed there will be a lot less testing imv if not before.
I maintain we will have a vaccine that is 50+% effective by end q1, 2021. Slight delay to my first this year prediction but looking good.
And must bear in mind it's not just an antibody testing issue. T cells are also at play in immunity.
I think antibody reduction remedied by booster is fine. I don't see any problem that cannot be overcome unlike SCooper who says already NO vaccine. What's that!!
What is clear is that SCooper will do and say anything to close down all but positive discussion. I think the S has really shown his true colours over time as a ramper.
A vaccine will not increase testing requirements but imv will reduce them in time and considerably so. Scooper of course want to close it down. There's no upside.
"But NEVER pump the company like other AIM ones do? I have lost all respect for them."
I think this single statement says it all really ... All IMHO
A tad disingenuous to say all the info. was in the public domain already when the TU numbers were only released yesterday.
So what will drive the price upwards near-term? And the Nasdaq aspiration mentioned in the throwaway comment at the agm has to be a pipe-dream.
LR has the benefit of the doubt presently, but a trade sale at a decent price would end the torture.
Keep ramping and rubbishing every concern SCooper.
We should ALL sell if we have a question/concern as you NEVER have a question you would like discussed! Not once!!
lmao!!
