"Considering the amounts of money these tests can generate it just makes no sense."
Bulk supply of test kits does seem to be very low margin priced from £8 per test in comparison to private testing where you will be charged typically £125-£150 each.
from £8.00 per test
100 Test kit £950.00
250 Test Kit £2000.00

Jadam,
Have to agree with that. Also, we are after all a contract manufacturer amongst other things so it stands to reason we would be contracted to many other companies and still produce our own.
All good :)
Nat, as of two days ago Ygen still had 'arrangements in place' with NCYT. For how long ,who knows?
Yes Coop; their recent update says they only have about £8/9m banked from the many sales upto that date. Their shareholders are quite surprised at the low amount they have achieved considering the amount of sales. Margins certainly are tight it seems.
Usual everything's great. Hiccup.
Let's have that overdue CE actually delivered in q2. Hopes shared for next week if not week after latest imv.
I'm guessing NCYT's margins must be tight if they are having to hire a near bankrupt company that wasn't even complaint or had a team capable of meeting the demand due to not having the personnel. Considering the amounts of money these tests can generate it just makes no sense.
At first I thought it was just me but the consensus now appears to be that Ncyt from our Company perspective could be a 'wrong-un'. It did seem strange in the 26/5 update that not a single mention was made of the new bride - I fear a divorce before even a proper consummation and delayed honeymoon has taken place.
That said, the info. provided to us to date is that on 25/3 the Co.signed " a contract manufacturing agreement" with Ncyt. The 20/4 trading briefly confirmed that the"first shipments are now completed," so presumably revenue attached.
I would expect that the two are still working together as any termination of said contract -mutually or otherwise- would likely necessitate a RNS.
My guess is LR is not a happy teddy presently as delay has been caused by need to introduce the go-it-alone test.
Short term drift perhaps, re-energised as CE arrives and the test is launched.
