D Day Tuesday 0.50p . Gla
Just did a little more research on Weshop and a few items to note:
Name change from Weshop Ltd to Community Social Investment Ltd - this is the UK company that Vela has shares in, which in turn owns shares in Weshop Holdings Ltd (formerly Boanerges ) based in BVI),
The JP Jenkins website shows recent trades in Weshop Holdings Ltd at 350p, I think original deal was struck at 75p,
Several Directors have recently resigned, including Michelle Mone who has been in the news of late, &
Most worryingly, the company has been issued a First Gazette Notice to strike off the company. Presumably this is due to late submission of accounts that were due 28/02. They have 2 months window from 03/05 to resolve or assets go to the Crown. Could be a good one for Novus to pick up and run with?
Weshop catches my eyes. The link bigDave13 put on was a great read . Gla
Ah man, I wish I knew when Aeristech would list, smaller investment I know but it's the one that excites me the most.
Nice one Vela team
Yep I agree with you 100% ojls . Looking good . Let the games begin. Gla
Give it time! As per my earlier post, it wont take much for shareholders to be back the BoD if we see some success with Ensilica and WeShop in the short term with Aeristech due to list later in the year.
We have a good mix investments that have been largely ignored due to SGS (that news could drop any time but its a complete guess as to when).
Great to have some positive news even if it does only excite the SP a little bit. So many IPOs on AIM have fallen hard of late so let's hope they price it correctly from the off, then our 12% discount is going to be worth something. I like the look of the sector and company.
Yes this does look like a good investment. I normally only come on here to knock the BOD and Brent. However, for a change this may turn out to be solid and the SP might nudge up.
Careful vela you'll get a nose bleed! Good to see some action at long last. Like the good old days, RNS out equals a jump in the sp. Thing is it doesn't seem to take much in the way of trades to make this move significantly, imagine what would happen if positive SGS news did drop.....
Blimey, some good news,.more than welcome GLA LTH might get our money back at least (bit hopeful maybe)
Update
https://novuscomms.com/2022/05/19/vela-vela-technologies-update-re-investment-in-ensilica/
Good level of buying taking place, almost up by 10% now, I am predicting there would be more upwards movement nearer to the 24th when Ensilica goes live
Re-trace coming soon
Gla
MC £37.6m * 2.3% = £864k vs £750k investment.
RNS out, this is looking really good, onwards and upwards now…
Gla :-)
Great news . Just got to wait to see wait price they open up at . Gla
Just been announced https://novuscomms.com/2022/05/19/vela-technologies-vela-investee-company-ensilica-placing-and-proposed
I dont think it even needs that. Provided Ensilica goes live and the SP stays levels or goes up it will show the BoD can pick a winner which should help with shareholder confidence. Its also a great opportunity for the new PR agency to earn their fees and get word out that VELA have backed a winner.
I am a little surprised we havent seen some upward movement in the last week given we are at bargain basement levels despite it being public knowledge that we have Ensilica IPO on the radar, WeShop is looking good and AZD1656 is still potentially worth a few quid (although that news could land any day, any time).
Who doesn't love the thought of a surprise multi-bagger :)
Initial IPO docs lodged at London Stock Exchange. Not yet priced, may need this to go 10x on Day 1 to get SP moving!
