"He died within days of attending the rally, not weeks..."
============================================================
It is - as you correctly stated - impossible to tell where someone contracted CoronaVirus, and he did indeed travel around the country widely, probably maskless (because he wasn't an advocate for masks) but it is all about risk....and attending the rally in Tulsa - I would suggest - increased his risk of catching the virus 'probably' quite considerably!
Your dates seem a little odd and may need fact checking:
- Trump Tulsa rally June 20th
- Mr Cains death from Coronavirus July 30th (aged 74)...after 4 weeks of hospitalisation.

It’s unclear where and when Herman Cain contracted the virus.
He died within days of attending the rally, not weeks and had traveled around a lot previously.
And he also had a serious cancer issue, perhaps he should have worn a mask, but even if he had it would be speculation to suggest that a mask alone would have saved his life.
Virus particles are able to pass through a mask.
Keeping away from others, by self-isolating, would be more effective.
How many of us are doing just that?
"On the topic of the “Virus” (Chinees OR Otherwise) I don’t think Trump is doing himself any favours holding multi thousand attendee rallies where neither wearing a mask nor social distancing is observed at all."

It seems counter-intuitive to hold rallies with limited anti-virus precautions in the knowledge that a percentage of your core base could catch the virus and be severely impacted (& even die). I believe attendees were also asked to sign waivers that they wouldn't sue the rally organisers for medical bills if they caught the virus. Very strange behaviour!
Herman Cain - pizza chain boss & Trump ally - died a month after attending the Tulsa, Oklahoma rally (maskless) from coronavirus.
Eddie,
You're not alone in your thinking. We'll find out in 9 days if he did himself any favors (note proper spelling) or not with the rallies.
