Much as I'm in the same boat as you in wanting the sp to rerate we've yet to see that revenue increase translate into bottom line profit and a dividend, the market cap is probably about right until the market sees a step change
In the last three or four years the revenue has trebled and yet the SP has remained the same, nobody knows why - but one day Rodney !
Hi Risks- your right - there is nothing else left to lift the SP except a profit and a Divi. Unfortunately I am prepared for covid-19 to have a small detrimental drag on profits and although I think we're pretty fireproof generally it's just another year to SP growth. Been saying that for a while!!
Interim results are due in a month, hope they post some profits this time unlike last couple of years.
A decent profit ratio would pull investors interests.
Looks like no RNS could lift SP up until then.
a lot of interesting and exciting things going on here. I am a holder and I do believe the future is bright but reading this in the last trading update is a bit of a dampener "The first half of 2020 has been one of the most challenging periods we have ever faced as a business". Plus despite all the contract wins and excitement regarding the hydrogen we do need to see some signs of profit. However when this is achieved I can see a large re rating in the share price but thats just my opinion and my opinion is wrong more than right
Hi RiskisReward , the short flippant answer is because it just doesn't - well not for the last 3/4 years anyway! However a better reason has something to do with the post by a4007035.
We are fantastically diverse and at the top of our game in these diversities. We employ top people at top salaries in all our divisions but many are yet at a low revenue point. As the revenue climbs the margins will improve and profits will accrue at many of the divisions - nearly there in my opinion.
IMO - they are still are loss making company. Yes, they win contracts but their internal, administrative, salary costs all add up and they find it difficult to make any reasonable net profit.
10m contracts won!!
Why SP has not reacted to the last two RNS??
