Total of 4 no's from me I think. I still have small holdings in both HL ISA and SIPP having cashed most out to derisk. HL were very helpful and I think I've got both the nominee and individual paperwork registered and voted by proxy. It's frippin confusing and even HL seemed to be a little out of their depth. Anyway they've convinced me it's sorted. May dip back in depending on news over the next few weeks. I personally think it's going to get interesting. BWTFDIK.
Good luck all what ever you decide to do.

Just gone through the process with HL. After a little polite persistence they promised to have my certificated shares on the register by close of business today.
I will telephone Link Registrars Monday am to check and register my NO vote for the Court Scheme Vote.
There is still time to do this, please use your vote as an individual, so our voice as shareholders is heard. GLA LTH
Please copy and paste to repeat the message !
Just voted NO with HL
Copied for info
Latest info from HL regarding the procedure to register as an individual shareholder, instead of the default position of Nominee accounts being counted as one shareholder.
In order to do so they must:
• Move at least 1 share(s) into certificated form, these shares will then be held in their name. One can withdraw a minimum of 1 share which will still give them their shareholder voting rights
• Any instruction to do so needs to be passed to the HL Certificated Withdrawals department by 5pm Friday 21st February 2020. Any instruction needs to clearly state the number of Shares to be withdrawn. Best done over the phone as there seems to be a backlog if instructions are sent via secure messaging.
• Once the stock withdrawal process is complete, they will be classed as an individual shareholder and will then be able to submit their vote with Link Registrars (0371 664 0300).
• There is a 2 day turnaround from giving instructions to HL to the shares being registered in their own name
• The individual will have to contact the registrars to then vote with regards to the shares that they’ve withdrawn. They don’t need to wait for the physical certificated copies as they will be on the electronic register.
• If one continues to hold shares with HL, then they will still require a further voting instruction through them, before their deadline of noon on Wednesday 26 February 2020.
• There is no charge to do this through HL
• Beware that once shares have been removed into certificated form the onus is on the individual investor to submit their vote with the Link Registrars and there may not be sufficient time to do this before the deadline of 11 am on Friday 28 February.
Once Link Registrars confirm that your name is on their register, they can post out your Investor Code, which enables you to vote electronically on [Link Removed], after registering online.
Time is short; hope the above is helpful to anyone wishing to have their individual vote counted at the Meetings on 3rd March.

Been a lurker for some time now but never posted. Absolutely aghast at the way in which this sorry saga has unfolded. No doubt in my mind that private investors like me have been completely shafted. Sirius Minerals is worth multiple times what Sirius and Anglo have valued it at. The mine has the potential to be productive for at least 100 years.
Odey may have their own agenda, asking for a minimum of 7p, but PIs like me who bought at 20p stand to lose heavily, an excruciating loss. Not to mention the lost opportunity to be part of a great project that I believed in.

"Being a cynical type I asked for evidence of my vote being cast"
Closettrader, well done for asking for evidence of your vote being cast. Unfortunately, it pays to be cynical these days.
Posted this message earlier regarding shares held in a Barclays Smart Investor account....it would seem that as long as you phone them and ask for a proxy vote then your vote will count and not just be taken into consideration for the 1 vote cast by Barclays for all their nominee account holders - anybody else been in contact with Barclays and have the same experience?
'I have just spoken to Tony at Barclays Smart Investor and I explained my worries about my individual vote not counting if my shares are held in a nominee account (after all, this is the future of the Company we are talking about here!).........I emphasised I wanted my own vote, he asked me my voting intentions ('No' for me) and he confirmed that this would be sent through as a proxy vote. He said that a list of votes is sent through at the end of each day to the third party counting authority. Being a cynical type I asked for evidence of my vote being cast (he understood the reasons) and he said he will raise that as a query to the Corporate Action team. Will await further news or anybody else's experience with this seemingly straightforward system with Barclays. Obviously not sure if this is the system with HL, etc..'
