Could be good timing looking at performance recently https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/events/event/shares-investor-webinar-150322
More fairly valued now but with potential as rents recover with the economy this is a domestic investment and always a good divi payer. True it was cut but now scope for regrowth
I note they've declared a fifth interim dividend, as promised back in February, for payment 18th May. The first interim div is normally also paid in May so I'm assuming (hoping) there will be another payment two weeks later.
It seems so undervalued
Talk of a return of cash, any details been heard?
Good profit taken. Good time for me to stand back for a while anyway.
SLI announces a 2.5% increase in it's quarterly dividend. great steady performer. yields approx. 6-7% PA, with decent growth potential.
Big reduction in debt ratio. in current year. Well managed fund. Assets in London & SE quite a bit in Aberdeen a good spot . If you are getting out of bonds this has a lot of future upside.
One thing you can say about this -its recently very stable. Second its only around 60p .Its in real trading assets and pays as much as many overpriced prefs hoarded by people expecting deflation. Will therte be permanent deflation ? Its not in the present day mentallity -more the problem is finding undervalued assets to keep up with eventual inflation to get rid of debt. We may not see 52p again but if we did it would be a bonus -but are these not cheap anyway ?
Standart Life Investment: Liberum Capital starts with a target price of 60p and a buy recommendation.
Top up at 52p
Yes freya I still hold
How do they pay out more dividend than they get in earnings ?????
Cannot understand all these new share issues without apparent purpose . Whats going on ?
Forgot to add that I bought another trench of this share at a lower price just incase you are not working out my maths.
Hey Patexd, sorry to take so long to get back to you - but my capital is still there - small loss but dividends received to date exceed £9400.00 so this more than off sets the loss - lesson here is always go for stocks with good dividends. I am sure you will agree with this. This is still a good buy for those looking for a good income - beats a pension any day!!
Great divis Eddie 777 but where's your capitalgone ?
Ex div 16/11 Pay 30/11
Due soon?
P IT IN PLEASE
Just invested in this share - great dividends beats inflation rate !!!
Currently paying out a dividend of over 6% per annum not bad in my opionion - much better than you will get at most banks. Pays out four times per year - nice little earner.

I have invested here and while it does not seem to be giving out much growth at the moment the dividends are certainly work taking. Standard Life the parent company are a very stable outfit and one of the biggest employers in Edinburgh. This is a long term investment as far as growth is concerned but certainly a winner in terms of the dividend - go for it - I have and am looking to investment more cash when the price is right.
