your not the only one with that thought ID, its bewildering really, all usual investment rules based on fundamentals have gone out of the window in effect, same with big oil too, up on a v low ppb,
I travel Ryanair most weeks with work Dublin to various UK airports, well I did until Covid 19 struck.. I cannot believe the share price hit low of over 8 euro per share during Brexit.. then has traded recently between 8.50.10 euro on a lock down / uncertainty for the future of travel until a Vaccine is available.. how can you keep a sae distance on a plane when you are inches from someone else next to you along with Air Conditioning circulating.. ! I have holiday to Spain booked late July but cannot see this happening.. Ryanair are luck to have a substantial pot of money but I think low fares will be a thing of the past.. for the foreseeable future.. I would be a buyer of Ryanair share around 6 euro or less.. where they trade today v Brexit prices I bewildering to see the least..
a very odd rise today, shame really i was waiting for the absent 'experts' 6p entry tobuy a few more. Tongue now removed from cheek. :)
Agree, as someone who is retired and travels a lot , I have been informed, by she who must be obeyed, that all air / cruise travel is off the cards until a vaccine is available.
The average person will not travel for the next 12 months and instead decide to holiday at home.
Not all but most will stay away from travel
Belgrano I think that's wishful thinking. Unless every case in covid clears up in the same time frames around the world then surely letting flights come and go from other infected countries will surely just start the spreading of this again. Remember this supposed to have started from one person. I think this could drag on for many months and will be interesting to see how long airlines can sit idle
Which ever way you carve it, high likelihood ryanair will emerge from this crises battered but unbeaten, while weaker less secure airlines go to the wall, leaving the choicest pickings for the survivors of the carnage.
Strongly believe that ryanair will become more profitable than ever after this.
Ask how long once they have the green light will it take them to get rolling...I'd say about week.
The booking are going to be stacked then, as everyone desperate for a break books to go away.
Just have to see beyond this mess and position yourself now.
Well I for one was supposed to fly to the Alpes Maritimes Today to do some fly fishing in the Alps near Nice. 21°, Sunshine, crystal clear rivers and fabulous scenery, French cuisine and wine.....When this pandemic is over, I will be over there like a hot snot..... Best country in Europe with zero British scumbags and lager louts polluting the place like they do in Spain and Portugal.
