For all chartists, Rene is due a major breakout in the v near term....triangle from the highs and lows v easily drawable and - normally - you would expect an explosive move one way or another (as Blondie once sang!)...I put 'normally' in a hyphen because nothing seems normal with Reneuron...when it has good news it has a forced seller as its major investor...it announces a prvt investor has bought 5% f the company a year ago....it keeps horribly quiet about what's going on...compare and contrast with Renalytix which I have owned in 1/2 the size I do here...but you seem to get almost weekly updates on what is going on...ho hum. Fingers crossed.
Morning Onceaday
On RP I am thinking in terms of when the current trial and the next phase of increased doses is all concluded RENE are going to apply to the FDA for the final pivotal study.
The approval from the FDA will be mid 2021.
That approval will be a very significant and SP moving point. I would expect at that point either the sp is in the £'s or a deal with large pharma or an offer for the company.
Depends on how amazing the data is when the dose can be doubled or trebled.
Right now we need a move forward on Fosun or Exosomes and with the Shares Investors Evening only 3 trading days away I am expecting an RNS at any moment between now and then.
It is intriguing why they have delayed the announcement of the year end report.
Chester.
Hi Chester
I am hopeful that we will see something before mid-2021. Given that the procedure has been performed repeatedly, I would expect the additional surgeries to be undertaken in quick succession. We really only need to see the 3-month data to be reasonably certain of the effect of increasing the cell count. Longer-term performance can possibly be extrapolated from the 1Million cell data set.
I do agree that some news on collaborations would be very welcome...
Fingers crossed!
I appreciate your concern and it makes me uncomfortable that he has recently taken a fairly large position in one of my other holdings. I will keep a very wary eye out for any selling with his name on.
We're all waiting here on Rene to confirm something commercial, even if it is the first milestone payment from Fosun or a signed up exosome deal.
The RP trial is going to be very significant to the SP when we reach mid 2021 but it would be very welcome to hear something commercially positive sooner rather than later.
Chester.
I get that Chester...what i don't know if it was RG who failed to tell the company or the company who failed to notify the authorities? RG has form of being very slow to inform anyone what he is doing, as he seems to sail very close to the wind. It doesn't really matter but having had the pain of him selling in a very untidy way before, I'm extremely cautious about his investing here being seen as a 'good thing'...
Hi PC01
The transaction relating to todays RNS was over a year ago. So what ever he was doing then is now irrelevant.
What is more relevant is why it has come to light and why it is now so important to correct. It may be nothing but there are a few things at the moment that could all be tied together. I am intrigued.
Chester.
He's actually my least favourite large investor, having almost single handedly destroyed the SP of an OIl Co in which I am invested. In fairness to him, he bought 9% of the company for 2 bob fifty which helped it bounce but then spent 3 months selling about 50k shares a day into any rally, which had the effect of driving the SP almost back to whence it came! Based in the Channel isles, he's an interesting trader...but don't be surprised if you come in one day and the SP has gone south because he's decided to move on!
Thanks Chester, definitely a large private investor if he is doing this across multiple companies...
Also, the price has hardened at £1.465 to buy which is upon early this morning at £142.5 whilst broker is still reporting reduction of 1.5p
Sounds to me like due diligence process has brought out some anomalies which have to be rectified before any announcements, coincidences are not something I believe in here. next 48 hours will tell I guess.
Also just had this thought.......
Is there some reason that RENE need to tidy up the legals.......??????
Interesting ...... or maybe not...
Chester.
"The Company is releasing a series of historic shareholding announcements which have just been notified to it but which represent dealings that took place in 2019."
And for which presumably, they failed to issue an RNS?
He is a large private investor. He has just taken a significant position in one of my other holdings (TRX). Also this transaction is backdated to 5th March 2019 so more to do with tidying up the paperwork than anything to concern us private investors.
Chester.
Have I missed something? Who is this Richard Griffiths chap?!
