Gas will have a key role in the energy transition
That is, at least, the opinion of the future EU Energy Commissioner, the Estonian liberal Kadri Simson, who will replace the Spanish Arias Cañete. Simson explained that his strategy will be focused on the fight against climate change but without diminishing the competitiveness of companies, and that renewables and gas will play a decisive role .
This is the decided position of the EC. "We can be neutral in climate change and maintain the competitiveness of companies," Simson said. "Gas will play a key role in the transition to climate neutrality," accompanying renewable energy.
Referring to the coal regions of the EU, such as Asturias, Aragon and Castilla-y-León, Simson has explained that these will be "the most affected" in an energy transformation in which "peoples from Galicia to Silesia are going to have to face to numerous changes ”
Simons' announcement has coincided with that of his country's prime minister, Jüri Ratas, who has just declared that his government adopts a new position, and now supports the goal of climate neutrality in 2050.
For its part, the Spanish Gas Association , has valued very positively this new support of the EU to gas as a key energy to carry out the ecological transition. In a press release , he said that the gas will be transcendental to evolve into a clean and decarbonized society, and that the current gas infrastructure offers significant advantages to advance the decarbonization of the entire energy system.

Positive message about the importance of gas as the key transition fuel to carbon neutrality by 2050. And specifically mentions the impact on coal producing regions of Spain.
Tesorillo is now the key missing component in WGO’s overall valuation following their success at West Erregulla. From the Bridge Street update (11/11/19, below) Tesorillo only contributing AUD$0.04 per share due to the 5% risk applied (as per Peterhouse 10% geology x 50% commercial), unrisked showing AUD$0.77 – I think on their (eventual) 50.1% and 708m shares and GBP:AUD 0.55 that would be around ~£300m. So would be about the same for us, eh …?, Gotta be positive …! Please DYOR.
