Trump tweets just show he was behind or in agreement with Bolton Re warmongering, esp against Iran. He said last week he never agreed with his assessments and wants to build relationships.
Just shows what a pathological liar he is. He is going to be tired into a **** storm if he takes on Iran.
My short on the dow is finally in the money
Santos oil is listed on asx. Give you good idea what will happen here.
Brent up 13%
This could open at £1+
Tr1 once your out dont buy nothing not even divi shares. They will be 50% cheaper when that recession hits trust me. This should go to 95p tomorrow but the hit on the general ftse will drag it back down but then oil will keep it there. Perfect exit. 77p was not it. Fd this up good and proper. Was always hoping for one of these when I was in and it comes when im not in. Dam houthis.
MrD, shame you weren't in, as could have made a few quid but there's always the next deal somewhere.
Once I get my price I will be putting alot in cash and dividend shares , but only after markets look more stable.
First though, see what the next week brings.
Good luck whatever you decide MrD.
Trump war mongering now, in his last tweet. Could be good for oil if they keep the sanctions on and rhetoric starts again.
Trump tweet
Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!
I think this is the precursor to the recession. Oil will spike to $75 then collapse to $50. Obviously im not talking all this happening this week. But most recessions are preceded by a high oil price. Then collapse.... lets wait and see. Dam it I tried to buy some enquest on friday. That would of been very lucky but not meant to be hmm.
Or back to £5.00 where they were.
Certainly mid 90s
Could rise well over £1 next week imo ... upto 120p maybe
Thanks for the opinion. Uncharted territory but good to read an opinion nonetheless. K
1% on oil is normally good for 2% gain on PMO. So a 12.5% spike in oil (albeit maybe lower by open) should see PMO up 25%? Seems unlikely but an open above £1 on the cards now.
Yup
Up 13% already
DOW futures showing market may open 138 points down
Gold will probably go up more as well. Back over $1510 already.
Perfect storm brewing. Well except for my future pension which follows the dow quite a bit but hey ho, have to make it up in stock holdings I guess
Wow
