Totally agree SK, seems to be a growing trend.
Must admit I don’t know much about the detail of Rre but do question the main mans motives having read their chat board.
However it does give me cause for concern as what may be offered for Pmo at current share price and debt. Can’t see it being much more than where we’re at now regardless of our assets. We need Zama news desperately to help get us a fair price. Hopefully TD won’t roll over quite so easily. (Assuming rumours are true)
Decoms, it was very cheap yes but circa £900m of decom liabilities would become a noose around our necks with prolonged suppressed oil price. Still, should have been worth £300m £24 per share really.
How can the offer price be the same as cash in the bank? It’s almost as if they are dissolving the company and the buyers are getting the assets for free. My view is the shareholders are being royally screwed over.
If that were the case the SP wouldn’t have rocketed
According to what Chat board Members say they had more or less the offer price in cash in the bank, meaning assets are valued at next to nothing. Something smells there me thinks..
Olivia strenght?? its neutral at best.
Vol pretty low and I would have expected 5% + given the FTSE and Olivia strength. Something afoot. Ii's may think a fundraise is upon us possibly. Well see. GLA
Looking at their market cap and production if they got that kinda premium i would expect PMO to get better premium, over 4bn tax credits are assets as well, if not Apache i wouldnt be surprised if some other US based company tries to buy them out. IMO
Looking at that deal I definitely wouldn’t want to be holding a single shorted share here.
