Well a few certainly knew since yesterday and today there were a few buys close to the 0.16 mark. Not large buys by way of volume but small price drivers meaning they were willing to pay above the current downtrend price. You will notice as soon as there was a small sell it soon brought the price back down, so for a while a larger spread than usual. Point being, more leaks than the titanic…lol
correction.my fractions are a bit off,as i disregarded the $3.2m milestone payment.iwas just comparing in my own mind the respective impacts of venturex revaluation and the fortacin revaluation.so each actually contributed somewhat less than half taking account of the milestone payment, but the fortacin figures still a little larger than the venturex impact, which was really my point.hope thats clearer.
afternoon bignose.just seen the alert and yes congrats to heimdal for predicting it.almost half of the loss reduction is due to the revaluation of Venturex i think, which was i suppose predictable, but what is interesting is that slightly more than half stems from the revised fair value for fortacin.now that is to some extent an accountancy exercise, based on professional valuation opinions, but then so were the impairment revisions which caused the figures to look so bad initially.so it's a question of opinion, but the opinions have , i assume, to be supported by some reasoning, which may just be the positive marketing consultant's analysis anyway, it's certainly better than going the other way. will we get a bounce? i suppose that it may just bring home to the investment community that the venturex holding has increased significantly, a fact which seems simply to have been ignored, but that said its been clear that that was the case for some time.not sure the revised fortacin element will have any obvious impact,as its all on paper in this regard, but who knows.fingers crossed and gal
Well I'll be a monkey's uncle, a positive profit alert, although I have no clue as to what that is......lol lol lol
Well Heimdal, contrary to what would seem logical sense, there is indeed a positive profit alert, so well done you.
I'm sure this could provide a small spike tomorrow based on the last time .... which was when.... errr summer of 2016 ?
"The Group expects to record a profit attributable to the equity holders of the Company for the period ended 30 June 2021 of between approximately US$0.50 million to approximately US$4 million (certainly a pretty wide band given the income amounts we are talking about).........Wonderous are the ways of HK 3rd party and company accountants....lol
Although I still have my doubts since none of it seems to make sense given the usual Fortacin write down which appears to have had some reversal ? Is it me just being biased because I'm so used to reading about losses? Or are they just taking full advantage of legal accountancy jiggery pokery ...... lol. What about the ATO .... I guess that will be in H2...... ahhhhh. :-)
