Hi There Heimdal,
Thanks for the kind response there. This AMC thing has got the potential, if you believe all of the hype, to be the biggest short squeeze in history. Bigger than the Volkswagen short of 2008 is what is being predicted, and by all accounts it is getting close. Moving to MVMD from RPG was a bit of an "out of the frying pan and into the fire" move, so time will tell. I do not want to be seen as promoting other things here, so I will leave it at that..
I have an affinity with RPG and will keep an eye on the board here for thelatest news and perspectives from you long timers. I always believed in Fortacin and still do and will definately jump in again once the USA and China deals start to get concluded. My dear departed Dad got me into Plethora for a reason!!
Regards to all.
Charlie
Hi Charlie, happy to hear you are doing very well with AMC! I am not that familiar with the stock but could well be a high risk play at this level as it might turn on a dime similar to GME. For me it would be difficult to get a proper night's rest riding these meme stocks. Sorry you did not stay the course with RPG as given the low MCap it still has the potential to be a 5-10-20 bagger if all the pieces come together. Please drop by and give us an update from time to time. Malaysia sounds like an interesting base! Cheers, Heimdal
Hi All,
I popped in last week to see what was being said and noted that one of the regulars brought up my name. I was on the run at the time and had forgotten my password. That said, the family and I are all fine here in Kuala Lumpur. I had my first Covid jab last week though the wife is still in waiting for notification.
Yes, I moved a fair bit of my son and I's money to Mountain Valley MD one of the Canadian exchanges. It was all going fine till a company called Anson Funds launched a short attack on them. Cut a long story short, the share price plummeted. Unfortunately for me I was averaging my price "upwards" prior to the short attack, so my average price was going up. This Anson Fund are currently being looked into for illegal shorting practices and this is pretty well documented if one looks on the internet. Going forwards, it appears that they are still being shorted and have had an up and down couple of weeks. They closed last night at C$0.48 and my average price is currently C$0.70. This is not worrying me at all as I have faith in what this company is doing and the will not remain at this level for long - in my humble opinion.
Lastly, I got a broker in Huntly who registered me to trade on US markets. In doing this and my research on stocks I happened across a Scotsman in Canada. He convinced my to buy into AMC at $30.76. I have bought more since then and am sitting tight on this one as one of the AMC Apes!! Yes, 67 years of age and still doing daft things.
That's you guys up to date now, and I shall continue to pop in every so often.
Regards to you all.
Charlie
