been giving a bit more thought to your post as to what would drive users to move from the free to the paid format, as it's a highly relevant question. looks to me that for the money you ge a few more analytical tools (my description for want of a better one) but you also get a wider range of recommendations. i can imagine that its the recommendations which will be the potential appeal.not much int discovering you are30 years old chronologically, but 75 biologically, unless you get some guidance as to what to do to address matters. not saying thats going to be a big selling point as we dont know and i share your general scepticism, but perhaps it's a generational thing. as always time will tell.
Dougie, 210,256 users just look at the Young.AI website. Heimdal
good point bignose about the market research update.i had forgotten all about that.
Yup. Macau is now behind schedule, however. Given Macau wasn't launched last month, what chance do we have of Taiwan being launched this month? Mind you, we still have a few weeks left to go yet.........
"Anything can happen in the next half hour" .....lol
I wonder how the US sales market research report is progressing since we should be getting the final report in May. Hopefully it will not indicate low interest given the highly positive Insurance coverage announcement a few months back. Whatever is the conclusion in the report will be used to aid in the license agreement talks.
morning bignose.thnksfor that.i agree some figures from regent would be nice, but not holding my breath.also what about Macau launch?
The.Italian.
Free apps generate revenue by consistent advertising (banners). Even if one manages to delete any, they are immediately replaced by another. Full versions don't carry any advertising , so, you either "pay-up or put up".
That said why on earth will people move over to a 14$/month subscription to know their age day in day out which probably wont change once one has the initial figure. It just makes no sense so even with advertising would that even generate a worthwhile income stream ?
I notice there has been no update (even in the ye results report) on the progress of the DLI and how it or if it is making any money. One would think they would be eager to show a revenue stream ? Just another white elephant by the looks of it. Do they actually do any market research before using SH money to invest. obviously not otherwise, as I stated before, they would have invested in something more worthwhile and seen to generate SH value.
what we don't know of course, is whether the "free"version generates any revenue. i have zero understanding of how free apps generate revenue, but i assume it's through some form of advertising.not suggesting that is happening here as we've no information.nevertheless the figures do seem encouraging.
190,000 users ? Where have you seen this figure ? I didn’t realise it would be anywhere near that number already
heimdal much appreciate your reply and the trouble you have taken .thsnks.
Italian, it is a somewhat lengthy article about the blood age feature on Young.AI "Our most favorite aging clock featured on Young.AI is probably BloodAge. It takes in a PDF of a clinical blood test and returns your age. One may wonder, how could that be useful? I already know my age. However, BloodAge prediction is different from your regular, chronological age." It goes on to explain that 46 biomarkers should be present for the most reliable BloodAge predictions, not all of them are equally important though and then list the 10 most important. All in all I think the Young.AI app is a positive development as it should assist people in living more healthy lives. With +190,000 users incl #1 in the UK I hope many users will switch to the more comprehensive version at just $14/month. Heimdal
thanks heimdal.any chance of a very brief synopsis, as my computer cannot access this site, due, i think, to its security settings?
