A continued good opportunity to load up being presented as the seller offloads.
People were happy enough to chase the price at 6.58p a few weeks back and you can currently buy exactly the same prospects at just over 4.5p today.
Chris Akers is so keen that he has bought 18% of the company. He only ever invests where he sees the opportunity for a multi-bagger. And has an amazing record historically with 15 ten baggers to his name.
Sounds like mine, thanks. Odd it doesn't show on here.
I can see a 500k print using Sharepad.
15:15:00-BST on 29/09/2020 at 4.4p.
Yeah. Though weirdly my 500k purchase which led to today's RNS doesn't seem to be showing.
Here's hoping.
A good entry level here anyway. Perhaps like yourself Akers and Mahtani have also been topping up.
Wouldn’t it just! Doing this in the hope there’s an exciting direct investment round the corner.
Dip buyers this morning following the increased holdings RNS.
Would be good to see another strong upswing like the last one.
Afternoon Gk, PNNK and all..
Yes, this is a good example of the mysterious way the market values a business..
While other companies with much less, and certainly far less potential than PIREs, are trading at several multiples of value (and even that intrinsic value being spurious), PIRI find itself basically trading at NAV, even though the business has demonstrated it is picking up substantially income and turning a profit.
Whether the market is struggling for true valuation, or a bandwagon effect (sparked by Mr Akers), has not really started, we do seem rather sluggish.
I don't think the broker note will have excited many, as it was rather superficial guesswork, and also significantly understated the potential of some of the investments imo.
Wondering if if potential warrants hitting the market is holding this back a bit.
But if certain large holders hang on to their shares and increase, then I can see the free float being squeezed, and then I think the uplift will begin with good news flow
Hi All.
This has been a good week to add. Put me into 7 figures. Now wait, l think Q4 will see an uplift in news flow from the investee cos.
GLA.
Hi Techtonic, yes I broadly agree. I was hoping for something a bit more rigorous in the broker note. Even so, it points to where this could go on fundamentals. There’s nothing in there for the Chris Akers effect, you’d think he would be able to help the board create value. He’s taken stakes in a lot of firms this year. Pires is the only one where the existing assets have potential to go way above the current share price. You’d think this would be the easiest one for him to demonstrate success.
Certainly in oversold territory on the technicals
PnNick, looks like you've been chomping, or rather champing..
Seems like it's been brought down with the general market pandemonium and worries, but also and inevitable fall imo after the recent rise and after Broker news. I think that left it nowhere to go short term.
I've been having a few nibbles too, and this share seems to be slowly but surely as the portfolio increases in value incrementally; although I'm still waiting for one or two of them to become blockbusters out of the blue, and there'll be a few big increases along the way, I reckon .
It was me :)
At the risk of seeming like I'm making it up as I go along, I couldn't resist topping up again - this should be over 6p not under 5p.
Some very chunky late reported trades from the 17th.. all roughly around the mid-price at the time..
Mr Akers accumulating more maybe?
(Or the converse!)
You’re preaching to the choir, x54v
Chris Akers has recently loaded up heavily with 18% of the company:
https://investegate.co.uk/pires-investments--piri-/rns/holding-s--in-company/202008170915123140W/
and John Mahtani with 4.15%:

There must be a strong reason for such heavy buying.
Great opportunity here to buy the pullback after the recent upwards surge.
Follow the money.
