Good post DS.
Like you & others I have bought on the basis of CF’s guidance or should I say misguidance. There is much to admire, I don’t doubt his work ethic, and he deserves great credit in building OO up. It’s just a shame his mouth has turned him into a bit of liability at times.
CF taking his mouth for a walk is an understatement, the man is nothing but full off pi## and wind and the share price is tantamount to that....disgraceful
Yes I agree, having watched it again yesterday, I now see why some of the guys on here were outraged at previous statements and guidance made in that presentation...
It wasn't new to me that video presentation as I saw it at the time but watching it again yesterday I was a bit taken aback to be reminded how definite CF was and how far of the mark his assertions have proved to be. I also do think it is very poor that they have asked for it to be taken down. That cannot be coincidence that that has just happened - it feels underhand to me. Moniman - as you feel so strongly about it I suggest you contact the company and ask them why it's gone - I wonder if they are worried about the legal implications of CF's statements. Someone on here a while ago kept going on about CF's lies and personally I found that too aggresive but CF certainly has taken his mouth for a walk a number of times and investors, including me, have bought on the basis of his very catergorical statements which proved to be very wide of the mark.
Desert that's your opinion, but that's not my intention, sometimes I don't post often at all. But when certain individuals appear to mislead shareholders, then I'm quite happy to join the conversation and offer some robust views on the matter. Don't put me in the same basket as some short term trolls who have moved on..Aimho Adyor!
With respect DS I don’t think Moni is trolling. I think a few LTHs have become disillusioned with CF and his massively misjudged timelines and over-promises, it’s just some express it more often than others :)
Totally agree that it is poor that OO have taken down the Webcast. I really hope that CF finally manages to complete the spin offs and in a way that rewards loyal share holders.
Moniman - we've never disagreed on the fact that CF over-promised and under-delivered. My gripe with you has been that you post that again and again and again and again and you always make sure those posts are top of both OO and POL chat boards. It is blatant trolling for your own agenda and is destroying both chat boards - which is clearly your intention.
Well Desert I think we finally agree on something....lol
I can't belive that it was taken down since I happended to mention watching it yesterday, shocking behaviour from the company.....
CF obviously didn't like being held to account for his words I would say.
I rewatched it. He was very clear and explicit about all the spinoffs being completed in the next few months (2020). I find it poor that they've taken it down.
Unless I'm mistaken, the Webcast from last June's for the Final results 2020 investor presentation (that I watched again yesterday) has been taken down since yesterday for some reason? Can anyone else find it? See what happens when you try this link that was working yesterday....

Yeah, I've also had my DIM, Imutex and Prep spin off shares as well.......oh I must have been dreaming.....lol
The RNS as of the 14 June 2021 states
"one Poolbeg Share for every 2.98 ordinary shares held in the Company, with resultant entitlements rounded down to the nearest whole number"
I can confirm that that calculation matches what I received
It appears that I have received shares in my HSBC ISA, but not the amount I was expecting. I had written down that you would receive 1 share for every 2.9815 shares, so I should have received 2559, but I have more. Did I not have the correct calculation??
I'd thought I'd share this link to the investor podcast from last June....you will like the bit around 12 & 15 minutes that said the minute the 9 months lock-in is up you will have the Poolbeg shares via Crest, well that hasn't happened has it? I believe they are being sent as paper certs? Have a listen around 7 minutes and 16 minutes onwards as also very interesting? So what on earth has happened guys? ADYOR!!!!!

There is no answer....a few have been distributed but vast majority still not in accounts....
Hi All, I’ve checked with Fidelity this morning.
They say they have still not received the shares from Orphan.
Sorry I haven’t been on here a while, have OO advised what the delay is?
Thanks
I checked x-o.co.uk last week and my polb shares were tradeable
It's okay, I think the Poolbeg shares may have been impounded along with Vladimir Putin's luxury yacht...
Moany’s definitely on to something. We’ve been scammed. Biggest pyramid scheme ever. Poolbeg doesn’t even exist let alone our shares. Thanks for the heads up Moany. Good piece of detective work.
I don’t know Moni, I do find it strange that HL, the biggest stockbroker in the UK, were not involved in the corporate action. I’m not sure about dodgy, perhaps just badly handled? Mind you, I never received a satisfactory response from HL to my three enquiries. Nor a response from POLB to my email on the 4th May, which I have copied below-
“Dear IR,
Ref Distribution in Specie Shares & Lock-up Expiry
My broker is Hargreaves Lansdown and I hold my ORPH & POLB shares in a nominee account. Hargreaves Lansdown did not notify me of the offer to sell my shares at 5.9p. I have queried this with HL as I understand from fellow investors that Barclays, Halifax, HSBC, Interactive Investors & Fidelity all managed to notify their nominee clients of the corporate action offering to purchase their shares.
I received the following response from HL “Due to holding in nominee form, you wouldn't have received a form of election directly.” Please can you provide an explanation as to why some brokers were able to facilitate passing on the corporate action to their clients and some were unable to do so. If the problem lies with HL then I will contact them again as I was effectively excluded from the offer.
Could you also please advise why there is delay in shareholders being able to trade their in specie shares after the lock-up expiry. I understand that the stock is not “live” on any of the investment platforms.
Best regards,”
Geddon Moani
I'm beginning to think there something dodgy going on with the Poolbeg dividend as I have three nominee accounts with very large brokers, I spoke with all three of them yesterday and they haven't received any communication regarding the dividend shares and cannot get an answer about them, I hope they can get some answers soon. I also contacted Open Orphan investors relations and they would not provide anything about it other than to say contact your broker. ..fishy???
I am with IG and contacted them over seven days ago asking where are my approx. 30,000 Poolbeg shares. After around five minutes, and having to make a phone call herself to some other department she told me that she could not help but this will be passed on to he manager to look into to. I would be contacted with the answer to my query in the next 24 hours or so. I am still waiting.
