Fair enough Steven. Personally, I was just commenting on something I had noticed which may or may not be significant. Not much going on at the moment to discuss. Atb.
I just wonder why the sudden dissection of Roland’s (or Rowland has some call him) comments vs Joe’s comment/opinions/plans, a little time later now that the SP has dropped.
I’m not criticising anyone (as per usual disclaimer!) but the comments/commentators try to align with either the positive or negative news stream. We are all in here to win and perhaps some more positive or accurate info from those/he/she who have had contact with Roland may serve to boost some morale and good feeling towards the company.
Please accept this in the positive way it was meant.
Gla etc……
To be fair guod that would have been before the Baker Hughes recommendations.
Was never really sure of Joe's position on anything!
Initially when taking over he stated the results of 77h offered no 'proof of concept'
Sometime later when building his own case for future drilling he made a 180 degree turn on the issue.
Exactly that .. it’s almost as if he’s trying to correct Joe and and being really subtle in his approach. Everyone is asking him questions based on how Joes reaction and confidence was and it seems as Rowland is now trying to clean up the mess and gradually let us down and be more realistic. He’s come in looked at what needs to be done and gone **** ! That’s going to take a lot longer than what you have been suggesting and it’s more complex
One difference I did notice was between what they were saying with regard to how likely the new fracking techniques were to work. Joe said
"its not a complex process" whereas with Roland it was something like "It's not a slam dunk". May or may not mean something. Gla.
Where’s the enthusiasm ! God I could fall asleep listening to him. Again months (specifically 3 months or so ) and hopefully was mentioned a lot in that interview. He doesn’t fill me with confidence. He also stressed he likes a lot f challenges and he mentioned there is a few hurdles which again doesn’t match what joe was saying 3 months ago. For someone who says they both are alike and on the same page for me they seem miles apart.
