Woodstock,
“Teething problems “...?..?
Who is your source ?
Can you reference it ?
If not please refrain from making silly unhelpful comments.
No teething problems..why suggest there is?
The company remains in strong cash position. It appears the country lacks a test and track. I feel Odx can fulfil this challenge as written about in The Tegraph.
I am hoping for India order. We obviously are having teething problems with the 10 minute home tests. Quite a difficult path but remain confident that we will kick ass.
Oh that’s a bit of a kick in the pills have to keep an eye on what transpires best of luck
Nskno1 they can stop by making illegal or contractually for The RTC product. Reality is we do not know if they will allow or not. What we do know is the public health benefits will determine usage and at present cannot see the govt allowing it for sometime to come. We will see what transpires with RTC outcome.
Davde that’s shocking when the 2000 study done and we get personal use approval surely they can’t stop it I don’t know btw !
At present the UK government will not allow retail sales of antibody tests to the public and it will be some time before they do. Why would they and what would be the benefits of doing so from a public health perspective? Antibody testing is for epidemiology studies at least initially, not for immunity passports. Re rest of world maybe but suspect our customers will be governments, they may not be as profitable but volumes will outweigh smaller margins imv.
I had that cunning plan gp make it a complete kit lancet alcohol wipe etc £9.99 got shot down on here ! “We aren’t retail etc “ amazon are in leagues with govt agreed not to sell any on line but if govt don’t jump soon I feel bezos and co will take a different stance feel this would be a great way forward
If the UK or Indian governments don’t make their minds up soon, once the ‘2000’ study is completed, flog it on Amazon for between £5-£10 a shot. Cut them out of the decision making process.
They’ll sell 10’s of millions. As much as they can make.
Ok after further research having the product CE/FDA marked it can be sold without icmr approval it just needs india drug control to approve it which has been done. So that's a relief!
Rocky 'the approval for testing in India ' was not quite 'done a while ago'. It has been submitted to the Indian MHRA a couple of weeks ago and it has been approved subject to further technical assessment. So we should hear about that anytime.
The uk team and Indian team I am sure are doing as much as they can to get clearance and deals in India, this isn't an unusual territory for them and especially the RTC, poc test approved will gain traction and sales. Once fully approved quality and cost will shine through and I think they'll seek their full capacity globally.
I was hopeful of more from Elisa test before now but time taken I don't see as a delay more our impatience and belief bar deals for friends that this can take time, again a decentralised, cost affective, easy to use test will achieve a great deal of traction against the expensive, labour intense labs. Over time every manner of testing will decentralise, go closer to where the people are and poc is the ultimate answer. Nothing this week!
Next week, getting toward mid august, could get;
Elisa in India update
Elisa approval in uk for antibody
Update mologic on antigen Elisa test
Public health England antibody update
RTC test approved for home use
Sales of any product already available globally
Update on transfer to odx of RTC test due to complete by end of august.
I think the company certainly warrants current mcap which is being seen in the current, stable support. Realisation of sales or quality tests coming available is the next step. Gla
Also surely that is worrying as the approval for testing was done a while ago and still no approval from icmr.
If we think uk gov handing contracts to their mates is bad... India is just as bad if not worse so let's hope CK knows a few politicians.
Though India control for drugs website have approved testing for mologic the Indian medical research have still not approved it from yesterdays latest update.
