I still cant believe DNAnudge got the contract.
A company who believes they can advise your ideal diet based upon gene profiling
It's comical really, some of the PR furore being created by various companies...
Just remember re the RTC and mologic/ODX test, there is all the infrastructure required to compliment lateral flow testing. There is no point just releasing millions of tests for people to do at home if there's no way of capturing the result data and using it effectively. PATIENCE
Yes, irks me as well and yet the Gov't say they have ordered 10's thousands of the things with results in 90 mins!
Even worse, the guys from BOO HOO say they have and instant test/result they are bringing to the market..... presumably that will be in the Autumn sales! Whatever next?!
Tricky, it's like anything i guess....the finished article doesn't usually just appear; there are always a few iterations prior, until eventually.....nirvana! I would not underestimate how intricate and time consuming it is to get these lateral flow tests ready and to market either, despite how simple and straightforward they appear. Patience truly a virtue here...
And as Colin pointed out on the live conference chat on Wednesday , our test will also be a vital tool in determining the efficacy of any future vaccine.
that crap test is full front page of the express - imagine when they hear about ours! couldnt be a better time for omega every news item is test failure after test failure
Yeah the DNa test ( or 'Nudge' test). Guardian says today 1. 94% specificity- doesn't meet the requirements from MHRA
2. It can't be scaled up.
Why would you want to scale it up if it's crap?
The government are really getting on my nerves now. They fall for every bloody snake oil salesman they meet. Waste of time and money. Eventually the media will notice 94% doesn't meet standards. It will be quietly dropped otherwise.
I would not be perturbed by the new 90-minute test machines being ordered/released by the government....I work with one of the companies that make these and let me tell you, i had to wait an hour and a half in my car prior to entering their building for a meeting the other day.....i can't see many people wanting to do that at airports or prior to entering theatres or sports stadia. Let us remind everyone here, ODX are working on a LATERAL FLOW ANTIBODY test with the RTC and a LATERAL FLOW ANTIGEN test with Mologic. Both are true game changers, not having to wait an hour and a half for one...
