No argument from me.
absolutely not. Freedom all the way! However getting people working together in freedom is a goal we really need to learn and encourage don't you think?
True bankruptbrit, but surely you do not advocate for the single party state subjugating its population?
worth pointing out that 330 million is american citizens, many of which are actually people that have migrated to america, whereas pretty much all of that 1.4 billion chinese, are all chinese. A huge monoculture...pulling in one direction, verses the USA which is a multicultural society that hasn't yet worked out how to work together and choose a direction.
Europeans 750 million
Sorry Americans nearer 330 million
That's still a bit inaccurate try 7.75 billion is a little nearer of which 1.4billion are approx Chinese approx 280 million Americans I think
Sometimes I make myself laugh, I should pay more attention to the basics I meant 6 billion. I certainly deserve you taking the Micky out of me but I pretty firm on £175m per annum potential profit.
That's an estimate that's inaccurate
60 billion. You sure ;-D
I don’t disagree Wadogara but there are 60 billion people in the world all succeptable to the virus, if our market is just 5,3,1 billion of those we will do well.
Agreed BIGBangs. There are,of course, lots of other suppliers and tests out there. The thing is,we only have to be running at even 30% capacity at an average of £4 per test to completely transform our finances.
Exactly Pumpky..gotta keep lookin ahead, stayin positive, reach for the stars etc. etc. No point in moaning and picking holes.
Wadogara, I just can’t see demand being an issue. The UK alone offers us a massive market place and our current 100m capacity is just a drop in the ocean and of course Europe, the US, Australia and the rest of the world provide potentially limitless demand. My hope is that we can increase our manufacturing capacity working 24 hour shifts and of course using the knowledge we have gained over the last 18 months there will be nothing to stop expansion. Like you I am not deterred by the naysayers, keep the faith, now is the time.
Same as every Weekend; What Could be!!
In my estimate frim this mornin,i have £187m GP..so i also think you're in the correct ball-park BigBangs..tho i would be surprised, but happy,if we were constantly running at max. capacity.
Let's try some ball-park figures :
Capacity approx. 2mn tests p/wk
Split between Visitect/Antibody/DHSC..assuming low ball retail @£4 per test on average
Assume 30% margin on DHSC,50% on the rest,roughly = £3.6mn GP , p/wk , £187mn p/annum
Assuming 50% capacity uptake = £93.5mn
Admittedly, these are rough figures and the variables can change, but as a ball-park figure of £90mn Gross Profit @ 50% capacity @ £4 per test overall..not bad considering our mcap is hovering around £90-£100mn.
Obviuosly,Gp figures could end up more or less than this estimate, but as a guide i think it's a fair enough starting point.Personally expecting the SP to be at least £1 in the near term.
