Bit of a wobbly whilst the meeting is on
Filtered - you’re the only one making misleading comments with argument, agenda and aggression. And you replied and latched on to my post clown. Bye bye
Quoting Micheal Winner ok lol. I’ll be sure not to mention any Twitter rumours then as don’t want to upset SlowlySlowly
You obviously enjoy picking a fight where there isn't one. Perhaps you'd like to explain why you're latching onto my posts in this aggressive fashion - or do you respond to all people on the board in this way?
Do I know how many are attending? Not a clue.
Do I know that it's usually representatives of large institutional investors, and notified-level holders, who attend company General Meetings? Yes.
I've known of meetings where far more rested on the outcome of the votes than this, where the proxy voting in advance was at a very high percentage, and where PIs cared deeply for the outcome - and the number of actual shareholders in the meeting room was in single figures.
We may as well keep talking - it passes the time while we wait for the official news to start to come. In a funny way, even though we're off topic now, keeping the conversation going is still a worthwhile pursuit.
As Michael winner would quote "Calm down dear"
Oh now you know how many are attending - do me a favour
Self appointed boss of the MXO board now are we?
Easy tiger.
I have DMOR, and I don't disagree with anything you say about today being a key turning point for the company's prospects due to our "major investor".
The _only_ point at which I corrected your earlier post was regarding your comment that we should soon expect private investors attending the meeting reporting the outcomes via Twitter. (There won't be many attending, and they won't be allowed to report things.)
I am invested here and have been for a while, I know different people have varying reasons for buying and selling shares, but I just don't get why on earth if you have ben invested until this point, you would sell just a few hours / minutes before a meeting and news we have been waiting for. Of course, we may not get exactly what we want / expect from this meeting today, but to wait until this moment and then bail...........I don't get it, it is not as if you couldn't have got this price on a number of occasions in the proceeding few weeks.
Maybe I will in a few hours................hope not!
Who appointed you to ‘manage people’s expectations on here’ complete deramper - that’s a ridiculous comment! We’re all grown ups and seasoned investors. If you’ve DYOR you’d know that this company is head and shoulders above the rest on AIM with a very bright future ahead imho! Today begins the new chapter to take this company to the billion dollar company of the Sheikh’s vision. What else is planned will be revealed hopefully today or in the very near future.
I can smell the money, ummm
Well it'll have started by now, eyes down for the RNS.
I'm enthusiastic and invested, thank you.
I happen to think it's important sometimes to manage people's expectations on here. If posts set readers up to expect (in this case) news to leak within a timeframe of minutes or hours, you get a load of disappointed people who then sell up when it doesn't work that way.
So we will have RNS as soon as meeting finished - probably midday then! Anyone would think you weren’t that enthusiastic or invested.
Don't expect too much. Probably few (if any) private holders will attend the meeting. Those attending will probably have to sign to say they understand they cannot disclose anything said at the meeting until it is in the public domain via a regulatory news service.
Sheikh’s vision of how he can turn this into a billion dollar company and confirmation of his appointment as Chairman. Expect we will find snippets from shareholders attending via Twitter etc. Just over 10 mins until 10! Expect this to start rising again in anticipation. Are you in for the ride or still on the sidelines without your golden tickets? DYOR imho.
I think we’re all in agreement Dusterhater that consolidation will increase SP and makes it more attractive for the ii’s to invest which we all look forward to. This is undoubtedly the best share on AIM! Imho
MX Oil plc, an oil and gas investing company quoted on AIM, announces that it is today posting a circular to shareholders convening a general meeting to seek shareholder consent for, inter alia, a change of name of the Company and a share capital reorganisation ("General Meeting"). The General Meeting will be held at the offices of Keystone Law Ltd, 48 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1JF at 10.00 a.m. (UK time) on 7 June 2019.
It’s actually a sea of blue!
from the babies who sold on that drop - we’re off again!
DanBrown83 Thought I’d filtered this clown. Suggest everyone does the same *rolls eyes*
you can do
any of you going to the AGM today?
would be interesting to see if Sheikh is there or has a rep there?
To be honest when nt to sell then I would of thought mm dont really want your shares - and normally on day of consolidation sp normally drops around 10 % very happy if thst does not hsppen though - obviously
Dan, you mentioned as a preamble to your post a few days ago ("I know nobody want to here my point of view but...). Can I just leave that out there...
It’s doing a sprint - MM’s short of shares - hold tight usual tactics NT to sell don’t be fooled or you’ll be buying them back later at a regrettably high price! Imho
stake your claim now! Meeting starts at 10!
Will we get H.H. appointed today..? It seems obvious people have sat quietly in the background both in and out of MXO awaiting the imminent news. I cannot buy or sell any shares currently - REFER DESK...
