It's the same method to extract CBD resin from flowers as it is any other cannabis flower. Carbon dioxide.
Don't want to diss the co. but this statement..
"MXC’s Slovenian Extraction Facility
Allows MGC Pharmaceuticals to extract and produce high margin API grade cannabinoids in resin form"
Well so does this apparently. Its not rocket science..

Bushmaster
They have all the info here from 2017
https://mgcpharma.com.au/investor-centre/presentations/
Hi Bushmaster,
Whether he's still involved or not, the Head Growers name is Elad Segev, related to Nativ.
Elad sold his shares very early in the peace.
He may offer you some insight. You might be able to make contact with him via this link...
https://www.eswebphoto.com/Parties
@Bushmaster, as you mentioned those info I put up, they was old as I add the date's on top up all of them. But I was hoping might be you be able to find something from these old info. I could add some new info about Malta but as you said it was side issue.
Ehsan, its not a problem - I just want to know what I have invested in, the more I go through this process the less it adds up.
One way to resolve this - Site visit - Then we can all know what MGC state is correct.
If I am on the wrong track, somene on this BB pull me apart.
Part 2
I am 99.99% can say that is not the premises the certificate for the production and manufacturing of pharma grade medicinal products. Is the building we see 5000m2? Not for me its not. Regardless, its from 16/17, four years ago.
Bushmaster, sorry it didn't help mate
@pokerchips
What is your purpose of dragging this company down?...do you think we are all mugs and you're correct in your thoughts and obvious hours of research on MGC?, it don't add up in my world ,maybe yours, put your portfolio up and ill rip it to pieces trust me when it comes to figures, pictures and accounts....it honestly becoming a yawn, if you think your correct then come back in a 2 years and ill salute you, until such time you're unproven !!...I respect others views but you seem to down every persons comeback or view on here, trust me you're not correct every time and if you were why be on here?
Part 1
Ehsan, I think Malta is a side issue for this thread.
The dates on all this content posted by yourself is in the past, where is the relevant 2020/2021 content?
What is in Slovenia, a grow facilty or an extraction facilty?
When you read the posts you put up with the info, it is contradictory by the company.
This statement:
"MXC’s Slovenian Extraction Facility
Allows MGC Pharmaceuticals to extract and produce high margin API grade cannabinoids in resin form
• API grade cannabinoid products produced will supply
MGC Pharmaceuticals for its clinical studies, for use in its cosmetic and dermatological product range and future MXC pharma products
• Facility will produce 3,000kg of biomass per year, assuming 100% capacity, starting Q2 2017"
What Is Biomass? Generally, biomass refers to the stalks, stems, and leaves of the plant.
This is not medical high grade THC cannabis - The company has stated this:
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/MXC/02247069.pdf
"Three-year EU GMP licence granted MXC (MGC Pharmaceuticals) was successfully granted a three-year renewal of its EU GMP license for its Slovenian manufacturing and compounding facility, following an annual audit conducted by the JAZMP, the government agency of medicinal products and medical devices of the Republic of Slovenia. The EU GMP licence is the most highly credentialled in the world for compliance and is essential for the production and manufacturing of pharma grade medicinal products”
The more I go through this, the more questions I have - Not sure about anyone else.
What is going on in this premises that a EU-GMP license has been issued to - Everything MGC is based for production, manufacturing for of pharma grade medicinal products.
Open field - is CBD growing.
Greenhouse facility - Using biomass for CBD crystals in not the same as the production and manufacturing of pharma grade medicinal products - If they have produced flower at the greenhouse in Czech, fine, but again, its not what they say the license is for in Slovenia.
MGC say - API grade cannabinoid products produced will supply - Why are they describing medical cannabis as pharma, its not. They are cleary talking about CBD production in Slovenia.
API means - ACTIVE PHARMACEUTICAL INGREDIENT
https://www.fda.gov/media/75201/download
MGC say - Facility will produce 3,000kg of biomass per year, assuming 100% capacity, starting Q2 2017 in Slovenia - Is this a different operation, different site? 3000KG of biomass is nothing, at best its 100 plants, at worst its 50.
MGC say - Slovenian Growing Operation
Allows MGC Pharmaceuticals to grow cannabis to be supplied to the Company’s Slovenian Extraction Facility
• Harvests to be leveraged for the Company’s clinical studies, cosmetics, and dermatological products, following API extraction
• First 5,000m2 test crop planted in June 2016 and harvested in late 2016
• First crop in 2017 to be planted in April/May
If folks like pictures...here is the Slovenia HQ Office building..
https://www.google.com/maps/@46.0458308,14.5024034,3a,75y,281.34h,118t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipMfeHogMbfQaagoWPrQrYOWr-OR0l8lRr2suefh!2e10!3e11!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipMfeHogMbfQaagoWPrQrYOWr-OR0l8lRr2suefh%3Dw203-h100-k-no-pi-0-ya99.61869-ro-0-fo100!7i8704!8i4352
cutshort - Thanks.
The license is for Slovenia , not Czech Republic - That is not the building on Google Sat or Street view.
That greehouse will produce one grow per year, no lights, few fans, bunched way to close for my liking - You can't walk down the aisles - I have no idea on the strain being used, I would say this is a CBD grow, no idea but the set up does not look a med THC grow - You see these type of set ups on recreational cannabis, but I would expect to see a lot more fans - Anything under the top canopy will not give the yield, its not what I call a top notch set up, for CBD its fine though.
The extraction image, that is very small, you will not get the quantiites for mass production. Do you know where all these pictures where taken?
Ehsan, thanks - I have read all your have posted before. Producing CBD is easy, as the content says outside grow (CBD) once cycle per year. The greenhouse is 1000sqm - Why would you grow CBD with flowers, you wouldn't - Not to say it has not been partioned off - Where are all the images with the flowers, the extraction process, the end product?
I am interested in Slovenia, that license and what is going on in that or those 2 buildings - That is what has been stated by the company, so that is what I would like to know.

Bushmaster
Is the machinery in this photo the kind that you are looking for? https://i.imgur.com/q4L8Jtk.jpg
For where they grow their plants, they grow them in The Czech Republic which they acquired when they purchased PANAX Pharma s.r.o., Heres some photos of their green house https://i.imgur.com/RreFz9j.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/jo85rnu.jpg https://i.imgur.com/oJFX57w.jpg
I found all those photos on their facebook page.
Nige7, that is possible, but it will need a roof - regardless, the certificate in place is for the address in Slovenia, different jurisdictions.
I think they are planning to grow on the roof of the new building in Malta from what I can gather!! But apparently won't be ready till 2024!!
Nige
Part 2
Are they buying in THC medical grade OIL, lab tested and white labelling - That is a possible. I would think the products ArtemiC are sourced and assembled in this unit in Slovenia, packaged and distributed under the ArtemiC brand. No idea as nothing is clear, but it makes sense for me at the moment.
Have a look at this - https://precisionextraction.com/ - This is what I expect to see from MGC, plus the flower production - You can see what it takes just to extract, its not a part time hobby. On the growing flower side, you would expect a sterile area with a total environmental control system in place, that includes controlling the temperate, pest control and on it goes…not easy, not cheap, and you need a ‘gardener’ who knows what he or she is doing at this level.
Why on the MGC site they are not showing any of the grow or labs inside this building, its a BIG USP, many other sites show their in-house ops - Second, I don’t see any security, again what does this mean with the lack of info, nothing. But you do need security on grow sites for obvious reasons.
I am not convinced they are manufacturing THC high grade plants in the building the license is assigned to, I will stick by that until I am proven wrong. At the same time the license is in place, for what now remains a question for me.
Part 1
I think one thing is certain, we all can agree, the accounts are not the best/but I knew this when I invested and the second part to this is how they raise future capital - Those two points along with the amount of shares on the market are a given before I invested. The punt for me was this part, the other part is Brett Mitchell - He has a colourful past, that is not so say he is up to anything - I have no idea, I can see the companies he is in, the new companies created and what the Ozzies think - In some ways its all old news from several weeks back.
Kleggy90, no mate - That Malta plant needs to be inspected, so I was just putting the possibility out there, just to see if anyone on the BB had come across anything.
PokerChips - I mentioned on this thread I had the certficate that was found in 30 seconds - I would not of created this thread with the links if I had not had it, again I wanted to see if members on here came across something else - The idea was too see if someone else found a separate certificate.
I can also, IMO on the information I have, there is no other certificates, licenses, call it what you want that Slovenia have given MGC - Not to say this has not be given under a separate company.
What I do not like is this statement by MGC:
https://wcsecure.weblink.com.au/pdf/MXC/02247069.pdf
"Three-year EU GMP licence granted MXC (MGC Pharmaceuticals) was successfully granted a three-year renewal of its EU GMP license for its Slovenian manufacturing and compounding facility, following an annual audit conducted by the JAZMP, the government agency of medicinal products and medical devices of the Republic of Slovenia. The EU GMP licence is the most highly credentialled in the world for compliance and is essential for the production and manufacturing of pharma grade medicinal products.
Think about this sentence "production and manufacturing of pharma grade medicinal product”
What does that mean?
To grow high grade 20/25% THC for medical use under a EU-GMP license.
This link - https://m.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/MGC-PHARMACEUTICALS-LIMIT-27113971/news/MGC-Pharmaceuticals-nbsp-MXC-Awarded-3-year-EU-GMP-Manufacturing-Licence-30808782/
It clearly states the GMP license is for EU cannabinoid medicine production facility - Production of Pharma grade cannabinoid based medicines.
The cert states:
Manufacturing Operations
1.2 Non-sterile products
1.5 Packaging
Google Earth - Street view from the front we can see the building as it is - The back looks derelict - But, I have 2013 on my machine. When I look at the satellite it shows a 2 buildings, looks fairly new but I can’t get in any further as its bleared.
I take what I can see - The building at the front of the address looks separate from the building behind it - Are they connected, no idea - Owned or rented by MGC, no idea - Is one a packing area, offices, toilets, goods, meeting room and the other is the grow section, extraction ar
Diligent
No..I just said that they have said they will produce the samples for the phase trials there...I didn't say any thing else
I was just telling you what I knew from what they had said..
The bit about
"the the license to grow industrial cannabis in Slovenia, which is subject to an annual review process.
As the license expired during the year ended 30 June 2020 and was not renewed on the basis that it is not required for the Group’s current operations in Slovenia"
I pasted from the Annual report on page 91 ...
It is all I know ...what Slovenia is doing for Melbourne IT .. I couldn't tell you..sorry
Some very interesting topics have been raised here! thanks for that.
Great collection of info @Bushmaster - will do nicely for a weekend reading - appreciate the effort you put into this!
Just wanted to add that the google images for Kamniška ulica 29, Ljubljana, 1000 have been captured in 2013 so there is a glimmer of hope that this building has been transformed into new, state of the art, sterile facility :)
What does MGC state in the link though? Look at key highlights. They can produce cannabinoids there, and more than just samples.
I also found a link confirming that they can cultivate for research.
"The cannabis cultivation research permit enables MXC to proceed with its botanical research projects in
collaboration with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology which includes cultivating and breeding strains in
order to test against cancer cells."
Are you saying that they are lying?
