I'd love to be gold-caked. I'd probably die though.
gold-backed, not gold-caked.
Though, same sentiment I guess. :D
Which is why Tally really need to emphasise the secure, gold-caked factor with their product. The pubic is jittery and uninformed as it is. So something laid out in simple English but which reinforces how safe this product is, especially if the company were to (theoretically) go bust...all that needs driving home in an age of multiple product all noisily competing.
This article is not Tally-related but worth a read for the general attitude in India towards gold and how central it is to their daily lives.

Yea, that should have been our not are
The libra will be totally traceable, they can stop anyone e they dont like from using it and deduct any amount they see fit, for fines etc at any point. Welcome to the future of government and corporate controlled finance..
Personally I think a lot of governments are already working with facebook on libra, there will be 100 multi billion dollar companies involved that already have access to numerous billions of people. They will all be pooling the information known about everyone and now will have even greater knowledge of all spending habits. Does anyone seriously think the governments aren't going to make sure they have access to that... They are simply going through the charade of pretending to ensure we the public are all safe and protected and are information is kept private... I'm sooo grateful, that grateful I wouldn't touch libra with a bargepole

If Facebook and the others wanted to offer the world a better, actual good money, the choice is obvious: It would be a 100 percent gold-backed Libra. But who knows: Maybe this will be the next step... ????

BigMJ replies: "Exciting times ahead Nigel"
I'll take a page out of Picardy's book today - Happy weekend everyone. =)
Well it's a vast and sprawling marketplace out there with room for all sorts of concepts and products.
But I'll stick to worrying what Tally is doing. I can't concern myself with panicking about Libra and everyone else's business plan. All I need to know is: is Tally on track. I can happily shut out all the other noise. That's just me. I really couldn't care less if it's not called Tallymoney.
Well it appears that Facebook will not offer its Libra digital currency until it has fully addressed regulatory concerns. Facebook is facing criticism that its currency will be used by terrorists, an accusation made against most cryptocurrencies. The G7 has even warned that cryptocurrencies are a threat to global financial stability.
Should we be worried about Libra?
