agreed BUT sales figures will either cement that ... or send the SP up ...
Mr market is always correct
What is the market missing?
I agree with you both here - I have been buying all throughout the day, market is missing something very beautiful here....
Good afternoon everybody, the last time it dropped like this we had FDA news, possible news on the way in my opinion good luck all. ATB.
Danny, I think IB is virtually self funding now with that $2.75 million grant over next 5 years along with sales, Stoneckecker is software based and with deals with other companies to sell software and on a saas subscription should be self funding with 12 months hopefully.
IQAI loss about £140k for 6months to June and post that they raised £775,000 so on that basis they should be ok for funds at least next 12 months, maybe 15months and at 130million shares in issue still quite low so it can move very quick with good news.
Pre-FDA the business issued a business development and sales agreement with CorTech for IB software's suite of quantitative and automated tools (StoneChecker, IB Neuro and IB Delta).
Subsequent to the FDA announcement they issued the statement "Relationships with key strategic partners for StoneChecker have been cultivated for some time, including discussions with companies that are CT technology providers, suppliers of lithotripsy equipment and companies specializing in the kidney sector which sell directly to kidney specialists. These discussions are continuing, as we evaluate how best to optimize the commercial opportunities provided by last week's FDA clearance."
It loos as though a number of sales avenues will be explored. If a tie up with an equipment manufacturer does materialise then this should have minimum sales volumes linked to those equipment sales. That could quite quickly change the sales picture here.
GF, the SP is actually lower than the previous high before the drop to 1p. It went as high as 5.49p.
The problem is that it was overvalued at that point in time. I can't accurately put a value on the company back then but the market seemed to think it was around the 1-2p per share mark as it was hovering/settled there. Also, remember that the shares have been diluted a bit since then, too.
I agree the board have done good work and are not stupid - They knew that the FDA announcement would push the SP up temporarily, which is why the did a placing at that point.
I pointed out before the FDA announcement that I believed the FDA approval was built into the price. And tbh I didn't expect it to go as high as it did on FDA approval.
The problem is, the board can't very well turn around and say, that sales my take a few years. It would crash the SP and they wouldn't be able to raise more money at a good price to keep the company going.
The risk is substantially diminished now they have th FDA clearance so will be much happier once I buy back in than I was pre-FDA, as the major downsides now are pretty much limited to how well they can sell their own products and can they become profitable sharpish, so they don't have to come back to the market for more money and continue to dilute the shares
If new commercial contracts come through this will recover, if they don't it won't. Looking at the history of DS you have to believe one of these outcomes is more likely than the other. LTH, sold some and still holding the remainder. The fundamentals continue to grow stronger, the market is interesting, and the Company has FDA approved software.
But we fell from 3.5/4p to 1p before rise, so we are just back to that now with a small increase but the company a lot further down the road. IQAI with the 2 companies are set up to have a excellent 2020 after all the hard work done this year, FDA approval, IB grant funding and other products coming on stream, sales should start to move quickly in 2020.
Finally Trevor Brown and David Smith payout on sale of company which I believe can be from September 2020 onwards.
And to be clear on my personal position. I currently hold no shares after selling out for profit. I want back in as a like the company but also think that they are further behind on getting any substantial sales than people think or are hoping for. So I am waiting for 2 main factors before I rebuy. 1) Time to pass 2)the SP to settle when traders and short term holders get out of their positions and the SP becomes "unloved" because of its low transactional activity/SP inactivity. It doesn't really bother me where the SP price is, as once the hype dies down, that's a more accurate reflection of the companies true value in my eyes.In the early part of this year the SP settled pretty close to 1p so we are currently still up about 450% from there. I do feel bad for anyone who bought in on the way up to and into double digits . Just use it as learning experience.
