Christatrdg, morning yes hope so ,thanks for video of ships in Belfast link guys very nice !!:(),Tango yes we may see a decent move up next few weeks and some news along the way gla.
Hi Cookiecrew2019 - I am fully aware of the potential of H&W et al but I had misread an earlier posting & it was not until I read the article about the Olsen ships that I realised that they were not H&W bound & was disappointed. However I am expecting more ships in the forthcoming months & hopefully the ML hence 'Strong Buy'.
Chris ,more orders will follow imho along with ML licence ,they don't pay 6 million for a floating terminal, buy H&W assets, bring ships into dock for maintenance /repairs and hold warrants at 5p if they didn't think they will be going places, plus there's one thing that might be brought forward by Boris on Tuesday ,the contracts to build navy /boarder patrol ships which had been put back ,kick start the economy?,comon Boris this is your chance !!!
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ four ocean ships to move to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities
The article:
'Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ four ocean ships, currently in Scotland’s Firth of Forth, are to begin moving to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities from today (Thursday, 28th May) to allow for more efficient running of the vessels.
The four ships – Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch – sailed to the Firth of Forth when Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines announced its pause in operations on 13th March.
Black Watch will be the first of the ships to relocate to Bab****’s facilities in Rosyth, and is expected to be alongside this morning.
Boudicca will also go alongside tomorrow (Friday), with Balmoral and Braemar to follow early next week.
Peter Deer, Managing Director at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:
“When we paused our operations back in March, we had an initial date of 23rd May to resume cruising again. Unfortunately, this has not been possible, and so we have had to reconsider the running of our four ships until such a time that we can set sail once again.
“Moving our ships to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities and having them alongside in port allows us to run a more efficient operation, including the general maintenance of the ships, crew changes and refuse collection.
“I would like to thank Forth Ports for all of their support over the past two months while our ships have been at anchor in their waters. We are looking forward to returning to Forth Ports, Port of Rosyth, when our normal cruising operations can resume.”
Last month, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines confirmed that it would be extending its pause in sailings beyond 23rd May 2020 in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and continues to assess all upcoming cruises on a weekly basis.
Any guests who are booked onto cancelled sailings will be contacted by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, with at least 30 days’ notice prior to the planned departure date.'
Edit: Pity its not H&W

The UK is doing well with laid up Cruise Liners. The Link is with the Fred Olsen Webby Site which my old computer here cannot attach sadly ( am awaiting some profit from the ML to update my old faithful !!) but Balmoral, Braemar , Boudicca and Black Watch ( which have been lying in the Firth of Forth since March 2020) are now moving in two's to the Dock ( where in fact they sail from for the UK market and which they call "home".) They await " preparation for more efficient operation " which is code I suspect for post Covid alterations .a bit like what I suspect is with our beauties. No doubt someone can attach the link !
