@Cont said " the directors don't even want to commit buying shares in their own company"
Why would they do that? they are going to award themselves a bunch of options. Their interests will be aligned with other shareholders.
I have real difficulty with the fact that some investors can’t accept that the bank finance, credit agency providers and the equity cornerstones see this as being a solid company with a solid board of directors.
I have done this from the perspective of both buying and selling businesses. It is tough enough when the value of a business is circa 10 million. Raising complete finance that includes contingencies as well as advancement of stage 2 Araguaia and PFS Vermelho is phenomenal.
I’m fortunate to have been in since the 1.6-3.0p days, but just hold this an realise the value. This is investment, and not one for trading
Absolutely old chap you've hit the nail on the head.......
There are safer ways of hedging against inflation than investing in a company with unproven track record for payback in perhaps 2028 where the directors don't even want to commit buying shares in their own company
I seriously get it Bwana and I have to admit to being slightly winded at the initial announcement . That said , having given time to fully digest the deal it is in fact, not only a Monumental Achievement but it is an Outstanding Deal.
To Raise $630M + is no mean feat, now look at the current economic climate and where Globally we are all headed , forget the green ticket that will play a part later on …. Inflation is coming Big Time, this on its own will reduce our debt, that’s why Governments love it, how else will their debts be repaid?
Fully Funded Project Finance with Huge Contingency built in.
Extremely Prudent, 100% De-Risks The Project, we all know how mr market reacts when you have to go back cap in hand & tail between your legs!!
100% Glencore Off-Take at Market Value for 10 Years. STUNNING!!
Nickel Prices could easily hit US$34,000/t , now look at how ridiculous that US$630M debt looks, it will barely equate to 1% of asset value. Probably more like 0.04%
Yeah yeah , I hear the ridiculous screams of That Will Affect Our Sales or Who Will Pay That? We will price ourselves out of the market. - Simple Answer Is , No We Won’t- It’s called Inflation and as above, it reduces our debt to an insignificant amount.
Let me remind everyone 1 thing - Inflation will Hit Us All & Throughout All Supply Chains $34,000/t Nickel will be the new norm just as a New Fiesta will Be £40,000++, the average house price in England is now £271,000 2021 . £230,000 April 2020 . £150,000 in 2008 ? Where Next £500,000 ? Wages will of course go up hugely to compensate/balance this out, mortgages will probably go to Lifetime or Next Generation setups as in Switzerland?
Back to HZM and the recent finance package
It’s Absolutely Amazing & A Fantastic Deal
New & Existing Investors Have An Opportunity To Buy In At IPO Levels ….. Absolute BARGAIN!!
Yes-I was not overly happy with several aspects of the deal-excessive dilution, very onerous CLN terms, no offtake prepay etc-all issues we have been through. However, like Strummer,I still believe we have great assets that are of great value and will be of even greater value in the future.Hence I bought another 700k shares between 6.55p and 6.75p.Upside will be lower and will take longer to achieve but is safer. It has become my pension plan, not my spending money.
My only point was that I am suprised we have not seen large institutional buying down here from placees now the price appears to have settled.
Not so sure Lawrence about larger holders here selling down?
There has been a split. With a few self proclaimed "larger holders" somewhat unimpressed with the deal quite right. Without putting words in mouths maybe myself, Wasa, Bwana and a few others. Whereas Craig, Picked etc were OK with it in general?
Nonetheless. I added on the weakness of the drop <7p to hit 11 Mill. I think a few other larger holders did likewise. Wasa has his 20M. I know he's long in a few others too. But he has it seems a lot of funds, and any he fiddles from here still seems to keep his core holding around 20 as far as I can see & from what he relates, and I have no reason not to believe him. I think others like Picked have added a decent amount recently too? Bwana holds still a large amount also I understand etc.
So whilst the deal split a few. I think the older term posters on here are still very much in tact. Just, well certainly in my case. Exploring other options with newer funds. But remain engaged in this one dispute the current SP depression.
The Green Box you regularly engage with despite advice to the contrar has always been a disruptive type here for winding up the vulnerable. I ignore his polemics by the filter button tbh.
Anyhow, just my thoughts. Let's hope that better news is forthcoming here into the New Year.
Cheers.
I get it Bwana and I’m happily averaged down, unfortunately I’m privy to a group outside this forum who between them had in excess of 80m shares and some have been influenced to sell down having read other large holders selling here…. All from this BB lol lol ?
They haven’t reinvested as others have in the other stock frequently mentioned here as they perceive it to be heavily ramped?
A huge volume of people read these BB’s and Never Post, people should be mindful of what they say as unfortunately it influences people’s decisions, FACT
The posturing by some here is beyond ridiculous.
Hopefully next week we can drain the swamp and move on.
All I would say , anyone thinking of selling, just sell and chase your perceived rainbow but don’t go bleating about here, just do it and move on.
GLA all genuine holders
The Re-Rate Is Coming
It Really Doesn’t Get Better Than This
Project Payback In 2 Years . Stunning
Simply to lower your average in price.
Bwana, and the constant selling by larger holders into the rise, until they’ve finished why would anyone bother ….. it’s futile
One would hope that that all the takers in the placement would now be looking to average down on their 7p investments, but does not seem to be happening in any great way, infact the only institutional activity we can be certain of is the shorter.
