One day coming soon a 7.00am RNS is received by the market, if the news is good and positive....by the time the market opens at 8.00am it's 20% + up and rising throughout the day probably to up 50% ..before profit taking .......its not that unrealistic to predict ...it's been happening to quite a lot of grossly UNDERVALUED shares lately .
What happened to this board?
It’s gone from being dominated by highly intellectual discussion to painfully mind numbing.
I can’t believe some of the things I’m reading are coming from adults. It’s shocking.
The reality here is that the sp could go up or down. No one knows. If you can’t face that fact, god help you if it does go down which it will continue to do until some positive news arrives. It certainly doesn’t take a rocket scientist to guess what will happen if the next rns is bad.
Someone mentioned that there are a lot of investors watching this stock. I also believe this is the case. The wise await the news. Good luck to all in here with balls of steel and good luck to those who can’t see any risk, I hope the bod are holding back the best rns imaginable.
what's unusual about that, I'm always loosing money down the back of the sofa.... don't be mean and judgmental ...
"I get the I impression that maths wants people to lose money and there are many like that on these bbs."
And others and not for the most obvious reasons.
Snaffleman , 16/38, Good logical post, sure there are risks, but like you I also will take risk as with positive thinking of the shares give me relaxation. Well every investor , I hope can think for themselves and take appropriate action about their investments.
Good post Snaffle'.
I get the I impression that maths wants people to lose money and there are many like that on these bbs.
Read the 2019 annual report. Watch the presentation. The risk is worth it to me an I am currently in . However understand this. I personally comp, etely understant why the sp is just below 6p. Last year the lroduction was about 12800 bpd and the price per barrel was about $59.8. The profit was modest. The foundation of positive sentiment was based on a predicted 20,000 bpd with the Brent price at approximately $60 to provide enough cash flow to underpin development and service debts. A typical prediction for Brent prices over the next year is $37 dollars. Now kick sustainable production down to 12800 and you dont need a degree to see where the way thi gs could potentially go.
I accept the risks. Put down your money and take your chances. All of the garbage about the price is a steal is nonsense. Many of us remember Gkp with it's fantastic assets going from £4.50 to 1p then being diluted to hell . If you are in good but understand even at 6p this is a risky investment. Having great assets means little if you run out of cash.
mjga786, surely your comment was not serious?
"SP now is below 6p, so even it goes to 0p or bust, loss for people would be less than 6p per share"
Here’s a question: If person A buy £10k worth of shares at 50p, and Person B £10k shares at 6p, and the company goes bust, who loses out more?
Hopefully the answer to that question will demonstrate the madness of your post.
The upside is indeed greater, but the downside risk is the same for all.
Yeah, Maths ....Go and stand in the corner, facing the wall. !
Maths- 15/14, reported for ''saying that a few deserve to lose money. ''
Math-, Ido not communicate with Children.Go and do your lesson.
bfc1, 14/54. Good post, positive, even on a single or two suggestions coming fruitful, the SP hopefully could double. My holding is only 40K shares, I will be happy once my holding reaches 1OOK, MY average is about 8.5p.
Yeah ..this year pmo down to 10p and tlw to 7p earlier this year......now 46p and 31p respectively ...did recover higher , arguably worth more as brent recovers....... ofcourse not impossible for this to make especially new investors buying in at 6p extremely rich if some or all of your suggestions come about.
SP now is below 6p, so even it goes to 0p or bust, loss for people would be less than 6p per share but on positive news of higher recoverable reserves and higher production together with future positive drilling or farm in hopes, higher possible crude prices, like before these shares may be could go to 60+P, changing more people's life for better. Some shares without any production or drillings but on positive thoughts have gone to pounds in the past, e.g., RKH.
