If CRS plans to liquidate their fund by September 2022 then it seems highly likely HUR will be sold on by then.
It looks like this will be held back till September if there’s a buyer in the wings
I agree with you, the problem for the BOD of a public company is the inability of individual PI's to work in concert; so not that they are only in for profit, institutional investors are not altruistic, they too hold their shareholding in order to make a profit.
Many BOD's right across the market appear to consider that the company board on which they sit is there primarily for their benefit, and as such small investors are indeed a nuisance and yes it would be ideal if PI's were able to work in concert and be represented by a single voice.
Unfortunately it's not going to happen is it?
Senseman, as with everyone else , thankyou for attending AGM , collating questions and feedback. It seems there are a spread of options being considered, which is positive, but really no new news, and that we should have a decision re end of September. Hopefully tomorrow some clarity regarding Windfall tax too. Kooba highlighted Crystal Amber RNS informing significant distribution end of September, which may relate to HUR holding. I suspect a buyer is in the wings and the final touches of a deal are being ironed out.
If IIs take on a share for their clients they add much, much, more needed capital, and if they are unhappy, they(especially collectively) have the power of their holding size to influence the BoD. Representation. So, if PIs want influence, then they need representation. Senseman would be ideal……
Daltry.... PI’s are a nuisance. They are there for profit only.
Whereas institutional investors are there solely as ..... ?
I am not surprised with the AGM. PI’s are a nuisance. They are there for profit only. They just add liquidity to the trading market volume. Unless you are represented on the BoD, you might as well sit on your hands and see the outcome of the SP. I have been on the board of a public company, and the last thing we needed is whinging PIs trying to influence the BoD’s stance. PI’s are just friction.
They, the elected BoD write the rules and rewards.
Back to the golf course.
