3/4 of the staff are invested, I got onto that subject and they also told me it's a great firm to work for
All music to my ears
Halma. We will see a dividend...when greggs passes £30 ill stick a moving stop-loss in and hold long term and take divis ..re greggs staff, there's a heck of a lot of them invested I did my homework back in 2019 originally I was put on to greggs by a guy called Pete who used to come on these boards
If I ever see a dividend from Greggs, my first duty will be to buy each one of those cheerful, hardworking ladies a £20 M&S / Next voucher
For they have been instrumental in my decision to buy into the company in the first place and continue to inspire me each time I visit the store.
Once dividend is payed again that'll settle the SP down some help it tick up
I still have nightmares about the one that got away back in March 2020 and looking back I should have gone for it with the 4000 buy that was in my head, alas, it wasn't to be but I've had one hell of a run since and still feel bullish enough about the company over 27 quid a share.
We all learned something about Greggs when the chips were down and their ability to ride out anything thrown at them, Top company I'm staying invested in for a very long time.
Wish I would of doubled up in the £12s ffs!! Bought another 1300 jesus will I ever learn
Back over £27 right now and I'll take that as a big positive on the build up to their trading update
BBW
If the share price gets anywhere near £30 I'd be clicking my heels but I'd still be overjoyed at £28 and I'm well into Greggs with 2,750 shares.
I might buy some more before they get over the £27 mark and head towards their trading update, went in for my coffee this morning and ended up handing over nearly 7 quid, as I bought a few extras for others and helped plough in further company funds.
Greggs is a winner let's face it with no pandemic over last 18 months ask your self's this where would greggs SP be? It was paying a dividend and a special or two and tge rate they are expanding this would of smashed £40 no foubt its cash cow greggs once it starts hitting full on mode
Paying a dividend :-)))))
Moniman..no I've not,.. :-)))a little patience and no further lock downs we will easily see £30 I'm holding long term I have 1300 I'm going to see how the next 12 months go greggs will start Oakington dividend again and don't forget those specials they are expanding their shops you don't expand if your not making money ;-)
It'll need to be high 26 before the next report to get anywhere near the high 27 and that's frustrating, because I'd expected an over 28 mid August
Think 30 was always a bridge too far and 29 is now looking very unlikely aswell.
maybe make that 'Come on £26'.....lol
Can we change the title to 'Come £27'? lol
Billy….you have put the kiss of death on it….lol
£29 will be the next ceiling to break, somehow don't see £30 this year but I'd obviously be overjoyed if I were proved wrong.
Whatever happens, the news should be on the positive side.
Result august should be fun can see price smashing through £30
Don’t put the kiss of death on it! 30 will come soon enough I would think…
Come on £30 my impatience is killing me :-)))))
There's too few shares in circulation and a shed load of sentiment in greggs and too much profit making on greggs side even bigger profits to come with new store opening up pandemic cleared this will be a giant cash cow with a few re rates, along the way ...come winter greggs should be making an absolute fortune who doesn't like a nice hot brew in winter and a sugar rush doughnut while they work
Analysts have hidden agenda
Blimey what a day we've had,
All those naysayers banging on about Greggs being over valued and one broker actually placing a sell on them lol lol
So pleased I bought more on the last two heavy falls, Just goes to show
You can have your cake and eat it.
I'll have to get another 2000 before August 3rd or else
Just a little more patience and £30 will be upon us
Moon boots :-))))) flying cap and goggles wait till dividend is reinstated and building more and more shops on industrial estates check out near Manchester Airport terminal how many new greggs have opened up servicing these industrial estates they are constant flow foot traffic
