I agree entirely with you Ricky.
We bought acorns effectively. We ain't going x bag are we straightaway?
Either liquidity event or the market will realise we have some golden tickets (hopefully) and the share price should reflect this.
It's not a share to hold one day and being disappointed when it doesn't bag after a couple of minutes /hours/days etc.
I've been here for years as well but I remain confident, hopeful and happy
That's my belief but DYOR.
It's basically Private Equity investing and that is usually a long term bet hoping at least one of them explodes. Unfortunately this is AIM so it's a bigger rollercoaster than usual. Five years minimum was my expectation and I've been In 4 years. Obviously i hoped for it coming good sooner but I think the next year or so is absolutely our timeline now.
Ahhhr that word patience, the most used word on this thread I’d say lol
We're all just waiting for a liquidity event which will drive us, forward. I thought the progress would have impacted the share price though.
Still well see.
Yer need patience with an investment like this.
If our envestee companies, we only need two or three to come through in the shorter term and the rest to follow on. Still long and strong.
Like I say happier here than jumping round chasing the share of the moment.
Well see, won't we?
Rickyl thanks for your comments - I have been very impressed with the recent pro-active interviews with Ed. Cant comment on Lorne as I initially invested in FFWD in late July of this year and have being topping up ever since then. I still feel that the fundamentals are excellent here but as with most AIM companies, the further raising of equity often reverses the momentum of any sustained upward movement in the share price. I look forward to being informed of the new investments and to further updates on the various investments at FFWD , especially regarding the progress of Leap Gaming and EMMAC. Yes more patience and less frustratation is required here by myself and us fellow shareholders. All the best.
