Wish I could remember the article I can recall some if this from!
But I’m right about the 29p post deal valuation by the funds?
What I’m driving at is if it wasn’t for those extra shares being pumped in at that distressed seller valuation then we would be sitting around that 29p post deal valuation and equally once the selling is finally over and done with we should see a push into that range and any news that would follow will push us forward or pull us down from that range depending on what that news is. Also would logic dictate that aside from necessary reporting, any fundamental news with regard to the pik and new structure going forward would likely be left until we did get to that point in the SP in order to give all parties room for manoeuvre?
Flipping spellcheck!
Truthfactory - I do recall that after suspension the funds marked their holdings in esl down and the figure 63.9 is stuck in my head. After the deal with dbay was struck they begrudgingly marked it down yet again and your right they were not very happy as the new post deal valuation was around 29p. What ( and I don’t mind being corrected here if I’m wrong ) really upset the apple cart was the off book distressed sale from the Woodford fund. Dbay took a big chunk along with Tinkler and it was a case of 6p a share take it or leave it. Obviously they had no choice but to take it, Dbay got to bring their average down in line with what the funds etc were considering to be the new post deal valuation and Tinkler got to pick up more in order to gain leverage for his opposing deal that fell apart but yet he is still making 50% on this extra Woodford shares. The unintended or maybe intended effect of those Woodford shares has been to drag the sp down even further beyond those funds post deal valuation causing the SP to be where it is ......... or am I a mile off?
Throw doth protest to much. Vbw
Ouchanj, are you for real? Why the childlike title followed by one of the worst posts, even beats truth and it takes some beating. Vbw
Cheers
Possibly, I just don't remember reading that, but probably just my memory
Alan it must have been a different article but this is the one I was thinking of anyway still a good article if I symbol across the one I was referring to I’ll post it.
http://citywire.co.uk/funds-insider/news/funds-hit-by-eddie-stobarts-85-crash-as-suspension-lifted/a1327750
I believe it was an article in citywire funds insider but it might have been a different article it was so long ago now.
"I thought they derisked somewhat and that was done. "
Where did you read that, any source?
I wasn’t aware axa was selling? I thought they derisked somewhat and that was done. Tinkler is largely down to the huge falling out he has had with all parties concerned the court case with stobart group and subsequent appeal that he lost (he’s been ordered to pay substantial costs). He also had 18% of Flybe! Invesco I believe need funds right now.
Yeah but guys
Ivestco selling
Axa selling
Tinkler selling (almost out)
But still theres still millions of shares to be sold befor these invetstors exited
We know why they are selling it’s been covered more times than I can remember!
Worry when stobart group or dbay start selling! until then Just got to ride this out and wait for news.
Patience gents... I too am frustrated, and if it wasn't for the constant upward pressure despite the selling, I would have sold out long ago!! But business is VERY strong, during this unfortunate period and is coming onto a full quarter of max growth in this sector.
Whenst the seller is out.. this will rise well and very quickly
And we get back to the question why is a large holder/holders selling when all the known variables look good. Same happens in BLOE few day ago, background selling holding the price down, weeks later bad news rns, then holding rns
Sorry my friend but everything points to market makers and esl its lack of informing shareholders and keeping them happy
It should be illegal that a stock is being controlled by banks for the sake of institutions.. why would they be able to buy at a controlled low price and we are not able to make a profit from trafing because they keep it down...
Its really a fight between the 99% against the 1%
It is frustrating, but it’s not the MM’s to blame, its people selling. If/when that stops, or if there is a good update, it should rise. It will have a lot of ground to make up if/when it does.
This stock really starting to annoy me.
All markets worldwide are normalizing while this stock is still being played by market makers...
