Approvals in two territories and a positive business update and yet the price hasn’t risen much at all - There is clearly selling pressure from somewhere, and some of the trades today are evidence of this. What you take from that is a different matter, but admittedly it can be confusing when the story says one thing and the money/price says another. We’re probably seeing action similar to VRP, where it spiked and then consolidated while larger holders sorted themselves out. Look how that turned out today - nicely in the blue after days of looking like the fun was over. I’m happy to hold for now that’s for sure.
Some investment groups may buy/sell simply to rebalance their portfolios according to their defined investment criteria
Agree you can't read too much into the big investors selling/increasing their stakes. Think RG may have a better record in his investment performance than some of the other fund management groups who tend to follow each other in their behaviours hence the mediocre returns from those types of funds.
The rich investors may do it for tax reasons/top slicing etc. If I recall correctly think RG went below 3% in his SNG holding when he was around 15% before readout? You would expect some derisking before readout but the sale to below 3% suggests other reasons for sale at SNG so these sales not a reliable indicator but worth noting nevertheless.
Happy to hold and value will come out imo in the end. By my rough workings out even 1 of the territories such as US for Alkindi on peak sales (and not including Europe and ROW and not including Chronocort) will lead to a couple of hundred million market cap on 20x earnings. For a growth stock 20x earnings is too low imo so on 30x, 40x market cap will be much higher.
What it requires is patience. All our holdings can't be double up in a month's time ones and a safe home for your money is just as important as risking it for potentially bigger returns short term.
Once approvals for Alkindi in US and Chronocort in Europe have hopefully been granted then this will be derisked. The testosterone drug is an extra bonus. We also have Chronocort for P3 in US hopefully a partner for that.
Just my thoughts please feel free to comment etc.

Any particular reason you capitalise your words?
With regard to him selling, who knows why? We’re all in this for profit so he was probably being smart and selling into the spike. It’s not like the entire position was closed. It does say in the RNS that it was “an acquisition or disposal of financial instruments”, rather than voting rights, so perhaps he wasn’t disposing of the standard class of shares that we are familiar with, but other, more complicated instruments.
News flow is positive and personally, his lower overall position doesn’t worry me. Be careful about reading too far into these kinds of news releases - investors (especially the pros) have all kinds of reasons for selling when to you or I often interpret it as “disaster must be imminent”.
