Agreed should be a nice blue day here tomorrow after the DOWs strong intraday reversal. Enjoyed COPLs fight back today despite the general market sentiment.
Bring it on
Canada finished at 35p
All USA markets positive finished up - what a turnaround. Lets hope the positive tone extends into tomorrow
lows not loans - bloody predictive text..!
USA is staging a strong rally today from loans Dow was down over 1000 points now circa 150 points. When combined with XOP at 59 we have hope for a blue day. Today was an indiscriminate market sell off so an equally indiscriminate bounce will do me fine!
XOP
.59 now
Well spotted HFB, my fat fingers are still burning from today.
Canada is 34p equivalent.
10M 1b? Shaa
our record is 42.7m aka 4.27 Billion on the 17th August our
return from suspension day.
Been out today, just got in. Good not to see delayed trades again after hours, eases placing concerns, and some comfort and also happy to see we held above 30. Although not a great day, it’s actually not bad considering.
Lots of news to come that should hopefully counter global sentiment and bring some much needed substance to our copl.
Also, I think it gave MM’s an excuse to take us down to get the selling done.
Not one single delayed trade today, one on Friday and nothing on Thursday - famous last words but we there or thereabouts.
A lot have taken a hammering today due to the impending doom and gloom media predicting WW3
Which won't happen.
Be next weeks chip paper. Always is.
Makes me feel better tonight knowing a lot of other shares took a hammering and it’s not just COPL, so hopefully nothing ulterior going on.
10 million churned or 10 billion in old money - a record.
A 5% increase today would have seen you in the top 5 of the leader board.
Tomorrow is a new day and with absolutely nothing priced in, could start to re-rate anytime. The overhang of Warrants/Placements can’t last forever. As soon as sells would happen today, they were being moped up with buys.
Everything to play for, New Discovery, CUDA and the fact that we are now a producer.
Besides, with such a massive acreage, who is to say we don’t make further discoveries?
Some Saber rattling that's all.
Agreed, why would Russia want NATO on its doorstep.
The countries between NATO and Russia were meant to be no mans land and not takes sides. Ie. A buffer. The fact that NATO has encroached into these countries and Putin is just fighting back. I am no fan of Russia.
Yes, the reality is very different to the fiction we’re fed
Don't forget that all the senior Russian officials have their ill gotten gains in London property, its what keeps us safe from attack.
Very likely
I think Putin just wants a few concessions over Ukraine's NATO membership.
Canada crossed 1M shares
Interesting piece on Stock Moe. He is comparing CAPE ratios across markets.
US stocks trading WAY ahead of historical averages. UK is bang on.
I think most markets are catching a cold from a big correction in US stocks.

Suggests UK is the place to put you money right now. !?
Yes generally a ****ty day for most, lets hope putin doesn't f' it up even more for us!
Carnage today across the board.
Value stocks will be the first to recover. Be interesting to see how we close in Canada. Will they be taking advantage of low entry price.?
and on the real LSE ,the usual daily dumper fits P LRGS XLON XLON
our rare delayed huge buys , have historically been associated with other Flags
on the trades ECHO XOFF , ECEU SINT , ECHO SINT etc , very few have been
labelled XLON XLON and those that have , being usually NON delayed and straight
thorough the book
Like when we had literally side by side, large buys and sells , Hadron dumping across
to RBC , HSBC and Clarendon (Feb/March) sticking out like a sore thumb
Then TR1 saying they did it all in one day and got the TR1 to copl , through the nomad
and over the rns news wire at lunchtime same day , when official volume TOTAL way
less than what they said they dropped lol
;))
time trace was 31.25 at 1500 but historically the daily delayed dumps
large and round numbers
we have had a whole year looking at them session in/out
