54p x 23k
Slightly concerned about all the £1 sell mark talk, that's why I'm selling at 99p :)
In reality I have until the interest starts back up on the leverage to fund this exciting roller-coaster before I need to make a decision in the middle of next year, £1.50 would be nice.
Right now It's nice to only be stuck 3k in stead of 5, words hurt guys 'deramp this and that' when someone says something you don't personally believe, my money is on the line like everyone else's.
This was a £2 + share for circa 5 years solid prior to covid. I see little or no reason for it not to return to similar levels in time. Will I or other be patient enough to hold until that time, let's see in time what we do.
It was certainly painful seeing things so far in the red for last few weeks ( I and others should keep in mind it has only been weeks, few months).
I am not sitting counting the money yet as that's never smart. Hopefully won't see previous lows again, but may well be bumps yet.
35.2p in account (+3p sale loss earlier in decline) = 38.2p. $4.10 at AMC, will see what happens.

Great idea. I think I will do the same. Sell half, make a tiny bit of actual cash, but basically have free shares to apriciate in value over time. Also to bring in extra cash from dividends (eventually)
Depends what amount you have I'm aiming to sell half of my shares around 1pound and keep the rest for a long time.
last time sp reached £1 when the cinemas were closed. This time sp has potential to go beyond £1 with the cinemas now open in uk and usa opening soon. Were all getting used to live with covid and everyone just bored of staying indoor.
With summers here family would wanna go and see movie, buy snacks and socialise. So glad in way result moved back a bit.
That's the tricky game sell at 1pound hope it drops abit buy back in,that would be a nice treat.
57.77. Don't know what I should wait for? Will be very tempting if it gets to £1. But also thinking long term and dividends so...?
I expect lots of small investors to get out at £1 and then watch it rise higher when the big fund managers buy more shares..
Some nice amounts there! I only slapped 10k in. I originally did it on the cineworld reopen announcement. 5k at 82p eek. Raised my risk and threw it all in while averaging down.
Really hope it works out for us all. If we go back to the 13p or so dividend per year it won't take long for us all to break even just from them. (Long in the grand scheme of things).
Nice to see that I'm not the only one with a higher average, reassures me.
I have 81k in ISA avg at 34p. Holding till £1 this time.
I have made profits previously buying around 55p then sold at 86p. So holding this time till £1 as CINE goes up like a rocket on its best days. Gla
Hereshopin - sorry mate I’m a little confused (easily done!). I thought he was asking for my average - not my sell. Avg 54p - sell - £1.02 (:
48p Average at the moment, initial target was £1 and I’ll probably sell half my holding when it hits it, but will hold on to the rest until the dividend is reinstated and this gets back to pre Covid levels £2+
67.5p. had sell at 84p but cancelled it for same reasons you mentioned. I had same idea. Got limit sell on at £1 now but might cancel that but I don't know because this will reach £1.80-£2.00 again in 12-18 months. Even if it takes 24months, it's a fantastic return.
I might partial sell at £1 and leave rest in.
It's a good business and no other companies can compare with the innovations they are doing. I think Cineworld is the Dyson/Apple of cinema. The new 4DX look and sound amazing.
That's the future of cinema, 4DX and VR. The future of cinema will be total Immersion within the film. You'll be in that skyscraper with Bruce Willis in Die Hard, you'll be in the cars getting chased by the Trex in Jurassic Park. That's the future of cinema in 20 years.
Cine get that. You'll be in the cinema. Headset on. Water spurting out, chair rocking around. Total Immersion. Comes 4DX is moving in that direction.
That's why cine won't ever die.
£60K @ 56 p average. My current strategy is to take half out if it reaches £1.00. Might just leave it all in if things are looking good though. Don't mind staying in for a few years really if the company looks like it is going in the right direction. Despite the uncomfortable level of debt, the more I've learnt about Cineworld, the more I like it.
54p :)
Just wondered what your average prices are? Mines 66p.
I had always planned on cashing out at £1, but tbh, with the dividends and studio news, I'm thinking of holding for even higher.
Whats your guys targets?
I know this is premeature but it doesnt hurt to be optimistic at this stage.
