I thi k Cineworld will be taken out for £1.50-£2 within weeks !
Global markets are due a huge correction and leisure is going to bounce back the most.
Cinemas have stood the test of times through the Spanish flue, world wars and a number of recessions.
Savvy investors are aware of this and have taken positions.
The same de-rampers were posting about 19p to encourage sales, they then moved their target to 35p, then 40p. Their sheer desperation to convince investors has fallen on deaf ears.
This is a screaming buy at these low prices.
It's stupid selling before £1
That's 100% rise you missing out on !
The demand is there for Cineworld.
I just checked the Tenent showings at my local Cineworld and seats are being booked-up fast.
The media attention and press will boost cinema and studios will be eying this up and I expect them to bring forward a lot of their titles.
This will soon move back to the 50s.
I fixed that comment for you;
Lol at all the clowns that said this would be closing 35p yesterday.
Nothing goes up in a straight line but the market is now reacting to the news and we can expect more to come the closer we edge towards the 21st and 26th August which isn't far away.
Shorts can leave their positions open.
Jan 2020 we had shorts at 14% and the share price was 164p.
And some clown said it would go to 40p, I guess the circus is in full swing.
@Shorterguy - You said yesterday that you don't have any stops. Therefore you would have been severely burnt out yesterday with the price at one point 50% up. Margin calls! So you really are talking BS. You do post so funny ones. But I won't be seeing any more of your posts.
Morning DHC, well done on picking up some cheap shares when the tree-shake happen this morning. I hope those who sold were able to get back in before we break 50s again.
The share is now showing resillience to drop below 45p after the auction so anything that can be acquired in the 40s will soon be a distant memory for many.
1. Regal (73% of Cineworld) re-opens on 21st August = 9 days time
2. Tenet screens on 26th August in the UK and ROI = 14 days time
If investors cannot wait 9-14 days they are too short sighted and will lose out some huge gains.
We saw a jump to 68p on the Paramount decree change, just imagine when something tangible like their US estate re-opening will do.
It doesn't take much to figure out we are going to be going north of £1 post 21st August.
Lol at all the clowns that said this would be in the 70's by close of business today
FTSE still moving positive, banks up , oil up tells me the economy may well be turning positive than in recent weeks.
When the weather turns cold people will want in door entertainment - cinemas
Tickets to Christopher Nolan’s big budget intelligence thriller Tenet for its 26th August opening have gone on sale at UK cinema chains Vue and Cineworld.
There is much hype and expectation surrounding the Warner Bros blockbuster as the cinema industry has been hit doubly hard by the coronavirus pandemic: first by the COVID-19 related lockdown which affected the entire entertainment industry and, second, by the way many film companies opted to release big movies such as Mulan on streaming networks rather than wait for the cinema industry to reopen en masse globally.
The UK’s third biggest exhibitor Vue partially reopened on July 31st, with 10 of its 91 sites beginning to show movies in a limited setting, but Deadline reported that it intended to have all of its cinemas running in time for Tenet’s opening on Wednesday, 26th August.
Britain’s biggest cinema operator Cineworld has also begun to sell tickets to Tenet’s opening weekend.

Dullard
They say "take a small profit and chill".
Their masters are pleading with them to de-ramp and now even hijack others threads.
Poor guys - we'll give them a new tea-bag once we see 100p - coming soon!
Yesterday we heard about the Russian vaccine and the markets were waiting for the news on the US stimulus.
We can expect more positive news ALONG with the re-opening in NINE days for the US where 73% of Cineworld's estate operates.

HOLD STRONG PEOPLE. THIS IS JUST A TIMELY CORRECTION AFTER A FAST RISE.
THINGS COOLING OFF A BIT UNTIL SHE'S ROCKETING AGAIN TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
150 p price when USA Regal Cinema's open 31 August
Yep this is just down along with the rest of the market because the US stimulus deal is delayed.
Once the stalemate is resolved and the Republicans and Democrats agree the relief package of $1 Trillion+ we can enjoy another rally.
If someone is constantly BUMPING their titled thread suggesting a lower price, you know they are desperate.
We saw this go from 31 to 68p a JUMP of 120% in a matter of days.
Hold on and don't let the de-rampers force you to sell. They are desperate.
So taking a breather
Nothing goes up in a straight line !
9 days to go before Cineworld re-open 73% of their cinema estate.
Solid movie slate for the 2020 for summer and autumn will surely increase footfall.
For the holders, just be patient a further rally is due.
Price to Book Value Ratio of 0.22. Strong value buy indicator.
Market Capitalisation £735m - got half of this now in cash
Best not to try and time the top, better to ride the waves and sell when you're ready to walk away with your pockets full. So much money left on the table when people dip in and out. Don't let fear give you itchy trigger fingers.
Nobody lends $250M without seeing the projected revenue - buy.
Additional liquidity secured
Cineworld is pleased to announce that the Group has agreed with a group of private institutional investors the terms of a new $250m secured debt facility with a maturity of 2023. This, together with the covenant amendments and revolving credit facility increase of $110m announced on 28 May 2020, further strengthens the Group's balance sheet as cinemas begin to re-open around the world.
Short sighted traders can take the small profit.
Buy on the dips all the way up to £1+
Great post RS
Let's keep in mind the fundamentals.
1. Cineworld cinemas operate a profit at as little as 20-25% capacity and are on course to open all their territories before the close of this month.
2. Face masks worn is encouraging as it promotes the government's message and mitigates the risk of further closure.
In line with government guidelines, all customers will be required to wear face coverings whilst visiting our cinemas from Saturday August 8. They can however be REMOVED to consume food and drink (a great upsale for concession sales, you will agree). 3. Schools re-open next month September, millions of children sitting for 6 hours+, side by side, no social distance or masks and frequent touch points vs cinema viewing in staggered, static seating with frequent cleaning and controls is a lot safer.
4. Debt may be B grade but that is it - it's debt. Investors aren't trading debt securities so the grade B (like Rolls Royce btw) has a default risk of 4-6%, so 94-96% positive outlook for their debt, again from a private investor who is trading equities securities by way of stock purchase is not fazed by this.
Cineworld will PASS their debt covenant test this December 2020 with ample room to spare.
5. Shorts are nothing new, in Jan 2020 this year shorts were 14% and share price was 164p (4 x the current SP).
6. Tenet the BIG Blockbuster of 2020 is to screen in ~2 weeks
7. Cineworld US (73% of their estate) is to open in ~2 weeks and will ACTIVATE 300,000+ subscriptions, each paying upwards of $23/month
We have seen this move back quickly - it was just the US virus numbers increased it that caused it to come down.
1. US numbers declining
2. Vaccine news break-through
22 May 2020 = 58p
26 May 2020 = 69p
27 May 2020 = 77p
28 May 2020 = 102p intra-day high
This is only jus starting to recover. Still a long way to go.
