bid is rising again
First time I've been right!.
500 shares available at 10p - 600 shares is 10.15p.
Watty is that a guess?
The bid past 12p an hour ago. Open market will see the rns tomorrow or Friday saying there is 3 bidders. Hard to say where it's going. I will avoid litigation for now.
Are Cenkos short here? And if they are why doesn't it show on shorttracker. Also beginning to wonder if Gresham are ever going to declare.
They have to pay everyone the highest price they paid.
The offer was so pee take, I think they are pYing the consequences, even little old me worked out in 10 mins what the value is to a competitor suitor - min £6m x appropriate p/e for a recurring rev and licence fee company .
If HH want to retain their discretionary clients , I’d assume they’ll oppose - especially when those clients might do sums similar to me.
If this goes for 10p I’ll eat something very nasty and I’ll have lost all faith in business being able to value anything cause valuing this is easy
Prediction tomorrow if no news.
Drop the bid, drop the ask less but keep buy limits so you can't really buy.
Its not the mms - they will have orders.
Trading reported does not support it ... so..
They will want as many shares as possible to see this over the line when it's put to the shareholders. All IMHO.
But these amounts are irrelevent - 88% is not in public hands.
They have a battle on their hands
Nothing is risk free in this game LB. Throwing money in this at 10p or close to it is not really that great of a gamble when you consider what's on the table currently. There is IMO a similar chance to this deal not going ahead as there is to a higher bid coming in at this point, and by that I mean the chances of either thing happening is fairly slim in my opinion. If this was down at say 8p I'd definitely consider it, but at 10p this is now a game for those in the know. I sense there are games being played in the back room here, hence the way this is trading. In all honesty I would say that the party currently first in line to purchase this is responsible for the present movement in the SP. They will want as many shares as possible to see this over the line when it's put to the shareholders. All IMHO.
oops 500k is now 10p to sell
Its the bid [and size] I'm interested in.
9.8p for 500k is too high if its just this straightforward offer.
Indeed - what should and does happen is to be seen.
We are however, reaching a pivotal point - selling has dried up so peeps holding for 10p or more.
Tree shakes won't work.
And the market now has a base value that the offeror admitted can be increased.
Peeps who previously went for a punt will be doing alot more research.
Good fun
This is one of a number of stocks I'm watching, but I must say it has me pretty baffled currently. The trading today is curious, but arguably it may have tipped over 10p because people are gambling off the back of these mysterious forms in the hope it could mean a higher bid is coming. If I thought there was a 50% chance of a higher offer being considered by the board then I'd be in here like a shot at 10p, but the board are almost certainly not working in shareholders best interests here. There is a chance of course, but from the outside looking in, trying to find a reason to invest anywhere near 10p is extremely difficult. If you are sitting on a huge profit I can definitely see reason both to hold and sell at the moment. There's logic to both actions I would say. To me this feels like another stock that has been manipulated to this point and now they're just seeing to some loose ends to ensure the sale at 10p goes through safe and sound. I could be wrong, but that's just my feeling here.
Who knows - it could HH [own account] changed to CC and HH [discretionary] remains.
All I know if offering 9.8p for 500k just days after the offer means something is going on - its too high a bid. They know they can't go over 10 on the bid for vol as then the cats out of the bag, if not already.
Small float key
I'm not an expert in these forms but I do know whatever HH held became CC - whether some one forgot to update something dunno but with WSG they just changed the name over.
Trying to read up on these forms and what they actually mean is virtually impossible - anyone got a link aka Form 8 for dummies?
It would - Hargreave Hale were taken over by CC sometime ago!
Yep - market shennanigans you can't predict [ nor understand the bloody 8.3 forms!]
But you can understand recurring income companies - what most companies desire - and how attractive this will be to others.
These opps for PIs rarely come along - and no free float to boot.
It is very intriguing I must say.
Max buy 250k - 11.299p
500k to sell 9.72p
Join the dots folks
If new bidder can slot BRY ops in:
£11.4m GP - halve O/H so minus £4m - over £6m annual profit.
That's why Hanover are willing to increase
Would not be surprised to get a higher bid.
9.77 for 500k [after 100k sell]
There's a rush on
This is where a small float may kick in
Well 500k upto 9.6p
Its moving with more sells than buys.
Got 25k sb more at 9.82
