Correct. Simon Potter has always said it's a 2 day steam from GoM, so will probably will be a proper drill ship that can do the steam.
Totally agree, but at the very least we might not see the name of BPC but they do owe it to their own shareholders to keep them updated on what rigs are doing what, we should also put a few rumours to bed over which rig it may or may not be if we see Western Saturn contracted out. If you think about it, it's the only one within a reasonable distance of the drill site that is available and could potentially get there to be able to drill in April as we have been told. Best of luck to all who sail in her.
Next subscription event for the MF is 31st March at 3.35p. Should be north of 5p by then.
If you look at seadrills previous reports. Alot of their contracts are undisclosed within it.
So i wouldn't get ahead of yourself thinking we will find out rig info by then.
Hopefully we will. But i think it will be from an RNS and not a 3rd party
Good point Bonum but at the same time Seadrill have issued their quarterly reports on the dot going back several years. Their next one is due out the end of this month which hopefully will show that a contract has been signed between the two parties. Personally speaking I find the timescale very tight if nothing has been signed, and if something has been agreed, Seadrill are on the money when it comes to updating their shareholders. I think we're all aware that agreeing terms and heads of agreement are all well and good on a handshake, but until that signature is signed who knows, I'm guessing we will see something soon even if it's only to quell speculation as to why a contract might not have been signed. Best of luck to everyone involved though because if it comes good there will be a lot of smiley faces.
Let those in charge handle it - I doubt anything will be 'signed out to someone else for a better offer', if arrangements have already been made witg Seadrill.
The respective parties will have their mutually agreed timelines in place, so imposing them externally with no idea of said arrangements isn't particularly helpful and indeed may mislead, imho.

28th February and seeing that the Western Saturn has been contracted out to BPC. Despite all the good intentions in the world to drill in April, I honestly can't see it happening unless there is a contract signed by the end of this month. Let's just hope that Seadrill don't get a better offer for the rig and sign it away to another operator between now and then. Fingers crossed that we haven't been told any misleading information regarding what's meant to be going on behind the scenes with Seadrill and drilling in April but all will be revealed in the next 10 days. Hopefully all will be revealed before the end of the month.
...'During the past three years, 95 HIWs have been drilled globally, with 40 of them resulting in discoveries – equating to a 42% success rate. Looking solely at 2019, however, the success rate of the 35 HIWs drilled was only 31%.'
TVM PoC - will now negotiate the e-cube business to see what they actually said (!). However, a good spot of yours though.
Excellent - thanks PoC.
Rystad Energy have done a report on the World's top HIW's for 2020. BPC are in their.
I agree bonum. The re rate will happen on the next RNS. At the moment it is sitting fairly comfortably.
The next RNS will provide an indication for the appetite for BPC and we may be able to more accurately take a guess where this SP will end up at the drill
agreed the price is sitting between the .618 and .50 fib retracement from the original move so a relatively standard pullback from 4p we need news !!
When this moves, it has a massive Momentum behind it, so I'd be pretty confident of that 5p being well passed in due course - it's sitting at a stable trading range atm and just as it was before the previous Push on the price.
It shouldn't be long now for the next major Re-rate imo and based on the price catalysts we can expect veryshortly.
I got in here at 3.6p a couple of weeks ago and been in the red ever since. I was hoping we would be closer to 4p than 3p but hopefully as we get nearer to spud date the sp will start to rise. That's what I'm hoping for anyhow. Hope news comes soon and it kicks off a steady rise.
What are peoples expectations if we got a Farm in RNS?
