no one will knock on Boils door we have an indirect interest in the PSC through SG so any deals
or offers would be made with them, we would just benefit if such an offer came
(major 33% shareholder so would still have a say in the proceedings)
The family connection, they probably have already run the various possible scenario's
past each other and have a figure in mind for each permutation
Farminee buy the asset off SG we can get 33% of the sale
jv/farm partner takes say 50% of the license SG down to 37.5 TGS 12.5 our exposure to the
license is reduced pro rata to and indirect interest 12.5% but still hold 33% of SG and its
assets indirectly
Chuditch SG 75% TGS 25% = 100% Boil 25% indirect
Telen SG 100% and operator Boil 33%
Telen being overlooked at the moment another little nugget picked up by SG off the French major Total
Boil in a brilliant position to benefit from any movements in current or future cherry picked assets
added by SG
so the potential for Boil to make huge financial gains via SundaGas pretty open ended
HFB- Good informative post & I agree win win:
https://www.baronoilplc.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Shell-analysis-of-Chuditch-potential.pdf
Yeah I get that. But BOIL has an asset (it’s interest in the PSC) that is probably worth 100’s of millions. If a big player offers shareholders 20 mil or even 100mil for a majority stake in a company that’s curreNtly Worth 4 million, most are going to say yes. A bird in the hand...
Nice post Hoping
currently no danger of Boil being taken over, we have 25% indirect via owning 33% of SG who have
another big asset and looking for more cherry picking, the two held both previously owned by
majors
Think SG would not be taken over just diluted or TL license sold if an offer they could not refuse landed
Chuditch currently 75% SG (Boil 25%) state company TGS 25%
TGS Timor Gap the state company, given the man in charge no sure how much they would be prepared to
drop to facilitate a JV deal with a big industry player to drill field development well asap
hopefully no worse than TGS 12.5% SG 37.5% (Boil 12.5) jv/Maj/T1 operator with 50%
major drills well SG sell for hundreds of millions lol
or as said for the right price SG sell the 75% for a huge wad leaving
SG - cashed up war chest for more cherry picked assets
Boil - cashed up to fund portfolio and still own % of anything SG pick up via its
33% ownership of SG
win win
I’ve wondered about that.
One thing that concerns me slightly is that BARON is really vulnerable to a hostile takeover from one of the big boys. Sure, that would be good for the share price short term, but I’m hoping that BARON/SUNDAGAS will step up from the little leagues in the next few years on the strength of the Chuditch PSC.
not sure which way that is going to play
at the moment Boil is just an investor in SundaGas they have another cracking asset nicked off TOTAL?
so could be a long term benefit , SG pick them up and move them on - Boil reap the rewards without
having to do much
Did try to RTO but did not pan out, just took 33% of SG, so that might come back around at some point
at the moment that gives us rewards in anything happening at SG, as said picking some plums T-L was
SHELL and the other was TOTAL
could be a very rewarding FAMILY business lol
Thanks, @hopingforbags. I had a feeling you'd have the info (thumbs up)
Do you believe the nephew wants to buy out the uncle? Do you see that being potentially good news for BOIL?
Some blue here... but spread isn't changing...
Sometime this month lol
all we know is the government sponsored new all singing and dancing 2d cubed 50,000 sq km seismic
was to placed in a data room for investors in the ongoing new license round
It is inclusive of 2d and 3d that have also been done on our area
TGS web states first data available rom 31st July but the entire area massive 50k sq would
not be available until end of Aug/Sept
So it's a best guess thing and all hoping, SundaGas has now received our portion and is
currently conducting analysis and building a report to give Boil asap
could land before I complete this post
or later lol
Any body like to hazard a guess as to when this data is likely to land off the back of Sundagas?
Would be nice!... but think we would have seen an RNS if that were the case..
3d seismic data from sundagas of how much gas and oil we have in the ground
Lemonsqueezy1 - what news are you waiting for ? I am new to these stock, would appreciate any info you may wish to share ? thanks in advance
Wooo get some more chepo shares before this data drops..
Fine by me for the moment... would be nice if it could last until the end of the month... :))
to 0.06-0.08 range?
