mick88 -- steady man !!! I was not talking about you in any way, my point was that we need to remember that there are discussion boards and not Rah Rah boards --- why on earth did you think I was calling you a ramper ????
Thanks Jim, didn't know you could append that to a Youtube address to drop into a particular part of the vid. Old dogs new tricks, I've learned something!
Producing both LCE and LiOH seems realistic Peter Secker does seem to suggest this might be the case,

My guess for dividends is slightly longer (2027), and that is the timescale for most of my early play holdings to coincide with what I hope will be my retirement.
My commiserations Mick, I have been there (not with NMX I admit) with another 'dead cert', I feel your pain.
I can't see dividends here for 4 years or more (pure guess), we wont produce for 2 and then we are all hoping that production increase will be the next call on any surplus cash available. That, of course, should not prevent hopefully a large increase in SP as it becomes clear that this will be a success.
Thanks John
I had been following (loosely) BCN for a couple of years, but had enough LI positions prior to Nemaska going bust. As a great believer in the Electric Revolution, and LI in particular, when I lost a lot in NMX (for me £128k is a lot), it was time to spread my holdings within the same sector, not to be caught out again with large single positions. So, I've taken profit from holdings (Livent in particular) and spread it around. I have bought in here since last Oct and consider this as one of my lesser risk investments, although I think growth will come first prior to dividends, I'll be happy to sit back and wait.

mick88, that poster is on my Filter list and has been for years - needs to man up and stop whinging - I've seen post after post asking why he doesn't just move on not just here but across other BB's
Just use the remedy 'FILTER'
Hi Mick, no offence taken (by me at least).
I don't know how long you have been following BCN but the interview really was a reiteration of all recent RNS, presentations and interviews, there was nothing much new. We are a bunch of sad old gits who don't get out much and read all we can about Bacanora. I think its fair to say that pretty much all of us LTHs continue to support the company but have reservations about the the dilution and possibly the current SP being a direct result of the discount given. As for control BCN has 50% of SLL, Ganfeng the other 50% . Taking into account the near 29% (28.8?) shareholding that Ganfeng will probably hold in BCN going forward, and the BOD representation that they have at both SLL and BCN, Ganfeng now have over 64% control of the asset (directly and indirectly). Hence questioning who is now in control here.
The first (long) comment on the Youtube Crux interview makes interesting points.
John
MrC, I hope you are not implying I am a ramper, I am a LTH (for my SIPP), I do not trade. The point I was making is that if you are a LTH, if there are positive vibes it is contrary to your position to knock. By all means criticize on what you feel it is negative, or even blow off steam at your frustration on lack of news, but the time is not right when the 'boss' is painting rosy pictures. Enough said by me, which by the way is not intended to offend, just opinion.
Very well said - johnpwh. I have seen other boards where the resident rampers launch coordinated attacks on anyone saying anything less than pure hype......
Hi Mick
It always surprises me the variation of the boards on lse. You get the tiniest minnow with 100 posts a day, 500 if there is an RNS out, and behemoth companies worth billions with one post every 6 months. Some boards I find very unpleasant and have stopped posting - which irks me in a way as then they've won.
But from what I have seen in the past few months ( I have been a shareholder for a year but a prospective very LTH) everyone is welcome here. Call us soppy liberals. Really hope to hear your views in future, maybe I am just a bit jaded after the SP action over the past few weeks - but yes, that should be countered by being fully funded , works on site started and demand for the product being increasingly assured.
Enjoy Sunday chaps and chapesses
I agree on this one, much prefer conversation rather than the constant ramping and deramping all the time.
I have been critical, especially of them delaying the project while the lithium price recovers... Having said that I can't believe it's 10% lower than the placing that takes it to fully funded. Has to correct at some point, great price to buy I think.
Point taken Jp, but when there is an obvious positive, then why point out the less obvious negatives? There is plenty enough opportunities for criticism along the way without also putting negative spins on positive interviews. No-one doubts the need for objectivity, but not just for the sake of it. The next two years are going to be long enough. I would expect LTH's to be critical when deserved, but to 'bite their tongue' on the negative rhetoric when good vibes are available?
Because posters on this board feel free to discuss the ins and outs of all aspects of this company. If the posters are restricted to solely positive hype then what is the point of a board like this? And how fair is it to new readers who seek objective commentary?
I could name other boards on lse which are closed shops to 'newbies' (as they call them) and who actively discourage anything other than ramping and posts by the established crowd. I personally like this board because it is nothing like that.
why???
I've only been a holder since Oct '20 after being burned (big time) by Nemaska, and intend to be here for dividend payments. I've never quite understood why LTH's have a go at THEIR project? Feel negative, best to say nothing.
